J50 Women's Soft Cup Wire Free Nursing Bra Large Band Large Cup

Review is for the Jeunique J50 bra in 44 K & 44 KK - (when worn with 6000g breastforms ^ - weighing 13.23 lbs per pair / 6.62 lbs each breast - designated by the manuf. [Ivita] as: '14XL/'KK cup'):Excellent classic nursing bra! Love the full lace cups! Love the comfortable underband! Love the shoulder straps & nursing clips! Love the traditional retro/classic shaped lace cups! Love the look! Love everything about this Jeunique J50 - retro/classic full lace cup nursing bra !=)) With nice quality nursing cup clips that stay clipped and are easy to clip & un-clip.These Jeunique J50 bras have very nice traditional retro/classic shaped lace cups, which again, I absolutely love! The shoulder straps are wide and very comfortable. However I would not rate the underband (which has an ample 3 rows of 5-hooks at back closure) as comfortable, as I think it would be much more comfortable if it was wider at the sides & back, (e.g. - I would prefer 7 hooks at back closure).SIZING: The underband & cups run big, imo, (e.g. - I would order one size smaller in the band & cups next time).COMFORT: I would not rate the underband (which has an ample 3 rows of 5-hooks at back closure) as particularly comfortable, as I think it would be much more comfortable if it were wider at the sides & back, (e.g. - I would prefer 7 hooks at back closure).However the wide shoulder straps are very comfortable, and the nice quality nursing cup clips—that stay clipped—are easy to clip & un-clip.SUPPORT: I would rate the support as fair, depending on how the underband fits you; since the underband runs big - I'd suggest ordering one size smaller than your normal. And if too big, the support will be poor - as the cups will sag from the breast weight while the back band slips uncomfortably upwards.CUPS: The J50 bra cups* run big as well, (e.g. - I would reorder this J50 bra in a 'JJ' cup instead of K* & KK** cups).* Note: The J50 & J60 & J61 & 708 Jeunique bras—with their extra large inner cup slings—do work very well with large breastforms, giving a nice overall traditional retro/classic shape with good projection. Oh! Did I say that I LOVE the traditional retro/classic shaped lace cups !=))** Note: e.g. the Jeunique J50 bra in the '44 K' cup size—is slightly large for 6000g '14XL'/'KK cup' breastforms [Ivita brand], resulting, amazingly, in a bit too much room in the points of the cups for 6000g breastforms, (although the inner cup slings do support huge & heavy breastforms really well), resulting in a slight bit of slack cup material at the points of the cups, (even with the largest 3/4" 'naughty nipples' - from thebreastformstore). So again, if I were to reorder the Jeunique J50 bra, for wearing with 6000g '14XL'/'KK' cup breastforms— I would try the 'JJ' cups, instead of K & KK.*** Note: the 'KK' bra cups do work great for homemade, maximum projection (horiz.) breastforms (i.e. allowing for up to approx 9" to 10"+ projection =) !^ Note: With regards to wearing with breastforms.... when the lower inner slings are pulled back towards the body, they form a large half pocket, where the breastforms can be slipped inside of the inner slings, between the inner sling and lower half of the outer cup material, hence they hold & support breastforms in place very well, (alas, the only negative being an unavoidable bunching-up of the inner sling material at the center, between the bra cups, or to the side of the cups and underband). Besides that rather small negative, the Jeunique J50, J60, J61, J30/J31/J32 bras are very comfortable and supportive bras for 6000g '14XL/'KK cup' breastforms.Btw, smaller, lighter breastforms wouldn't need this J50 bra, (or J60, or J61, or J30, J31, J32 or 708 bras &c), as there are numerous brands and sizes of 'pocket bras' sold - that I believe accommodate up to 4000g bresastforms?

I've been wearing these since i was 19- and in in my mid-40's. They're easy to alter for a great fit. They were recently discontinued so I was,glad to find these. I use to pay $125/$150 each for them.... For once, they are affordable

Seller correct - get a size smaller than you are. In my case I had to downsize 2 sizes. WONDERFUL fit! I wore these for many years before they stopped making them, SO happy to find them again, much support, holds the heavier part UP! VERY HAPPY! Ordered another!

I didn't like the fit nor the shape

I am a first time mom and needed to get a good nursing bra. I wear an H size bra so I thought the HH would work. The bra is so comfortable and breathable. It has very minimal support compared to the underwire I am use to but definitely better than I expected, especially for the price.

Great for the big girls. Plenty support. No sagging.

Awesome product

I used to sell these bras back in the 70's and they have changed the bandarin. No longer does this bra have the adjustable bandarin and it is not what I really want. I need to be able to adjust it and this is not an option on this new designed bra. Unfortunately, I have to return this bra. Four stars, because it is not what I hoped this bra would be and not happy that they changed the perfect design.
