These energy drinks from Brite are something different. I'm used to drinking a coffees in the morning before work and throughout the day. I'm also partial to one of the big canned energy drinks. The hit a bit different to those.They're a lot more subtle and certainly less intense than some of the energy drinks that come in the larger can. They're about the same caffeine strength as some of them but given the smaller can (standard 330ml) you're getting less caffeine overall. I found they don't give you that big hit that usual energy drinks do but you also don't get a crash a few hours later.The flavours are varied. I quite liked the Raspberry mint for taste but the lemon lime was definitely the most thirst quenching. The flavouring is mild and not overpowered and doesn't taste of chemicals or artificial. These have no added sugar or added sweetener but still have 5.6g/100m sugar and 24Kcal/100ml or ~80kcal per can which is reasonable. The multipack cans are quite difficult to identify the nutritional content as they're written in multiple languages in sentences.I think if you're used to having a lot of caffeine throughout the day these might not give you the same hit you're craving but could be a good middle ground if you're planning on reducing that for health etc.These work out at £2.00 per can which is quite expensive for a multipack product but each to their own to determine whether you feel this is good value.

Good selection, nice drinks, great value, perfect coffee alternative

They definitely make me more alert after a bad nights sleep. Don't take too late though as can affect that nights sleep as well in my experience as well.

I ordered these as I wanted an alternative form of caffeine which didn't come from Coffee and since this product also promoted the fact that it had zero added sugar and natural ingredients which all appeal. Having also read the story behind how the product was developed I was intrigued into giving it a try.When the product arrived I really liked the neutral design and clear branding, which together gave the impression of a premium drink product.Upon opening the can, I found the drink to taste more like lemon than lime, with a zesty tingling aftertaste on the tongue which lasted for a few seconds, a bit like Kefir. Whilst you would expect the lemon and lime content to taste of citrus, unfortunately I found it a bit too acidic, probably due to the over projection of lemon.I also found another negative with the product for me, and that was how gassy it was, after drinking one can over a relatively slow period, I experienced a lot of bloating and trapped wind. I think perhaps there is too much focus on bringing out the sparking aspect. Acidic and overly Gassy drinks are not a good combination for some people.The manufacturers promote the product as being a slow release form of caffeine rather than a quick boost. In my experience, that worked a bit too well, as I didn't notice any benefit whatsoever in the hours which followed, either concentrating on work in my home office, or a few hours later on the treadmill.In terms of value for money, I felt it was a little expensive for what I found it to be, namely a nicely branded fizzy lemon drink with a nice back story. Perhaps the other flavours convey the product better.

I do a job that is quite mentally tiring and often feel quite fatigued throughout the day. So when I was offered this pack of 24 Brite Natural Focus drinks to try I thought they would be ideal.There are two flavours and I received the Lemon and Lime pack. There are 24 cans in total all of the typical 330ml size. The packaging is quite plain but actually quite catchy. Pouring the drink you notice it isn't overly carbonated. Taking a taste confirms this and the flavour has a nice citrus kick with very little sweetness. You could call it slightly bitter. It's actually quite nice. There are no added sugars or sweeteners and any sweetness comes from the fruit content. In terms of effectiveness it's difficult to gauge. I did feel like it picked me up like other energy drinks do. But how much of that is a placebo? Either way I found it a good mid day pick me up.I enjoyed these drinks. The flavour is quite different to anything else and they taste quite natural. However the price is the big sticking point. £48 is quite a lot of money. The price per can, £2, isn't far off other drinks when bought individually but as a bulk buy I would like to see a little more of a saving.
