This is my first time ever buying a camera for my home, so I really wasn't sure what to expect when I received these. I set up one of them yesterday; the instructions were extremely simple and got right to the point. My camera was up and running within 10 minutes (maybe less), came with a free 30-day unlimited storage, checked the price of the plan, and it is super cheap and affordable for me after the first 30 days. The camera itself is of high quality, and the picture is crystal clear. You can tilt and rotate the camera from the app to adjust the view and view previous recordings in the app. The camera does well detecting when someone enters my home, which will make me and my family feel extremely secure. I get a notification right to my phone each time something moves in my living room. You can talk right from the app to the camera when you are away as well. You can easily customize how you want it to work in the app. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, and I would recommend it to my family and friends, and to you, too! It's worth every penny, if not more! A+!

I’ve been really happy with these indoor security cameras! The video quality is very clear, even at night, and the live feed loads quickly. It gives me peace of mind being able to check in anytime from my phone and see exactly what’s going on at home.Just a heads-up: if you want to save recordings or review footage later, you’ll need to either subscribe to a cloud service or use a memory card. Without that, you can only view the live feed, not past events. Still, the cameras work great and are easy to set up.Highly recommend if you're looking for reliable indoor monitoring with clear picture quality!

They work very well. The 2 way communication and remote access is good. You can use them without a subscription but I have one. You can mount them all over the place. They do well in the dark too so they're perfect if you're looking for more home security or just something to watch the house while you're gone without breaking the bank. It has a good zoom feature and the camera quality is pretty nice. They're really easy to use and set up. If you don't want to spend a ton of money but want cameras these are a good option

A great upgrade from the previous Kasa cameras. The new Tapo app is great, too, with better sharing controls. Camera is clear and it's a great value for the money. The sound quality could be better (you can't hear from very far away) and the device's vertical range of movement is a little lacking for looking down. We have a camera up high on a cabinet, and it doesn't look down very far -- so it's best to do a ceiling mount instead if you're peering down from an elevated location.

Decent camera for the money. Very easy to install. Everything works well, wifi connection, pan/tilt, daytime video. One exception. Where it really lacks, is nightvision. Colored, or infrared. Both are pretty dismal unless they get very close to the camera. I really need to find good to excellent infrared nightvision, that can see at least 100ft across my backyard, for my purposes. I emailed TP-Link/Tapo for a better recommendation, and they didn't bother to answer my query. Poor customer service doesn't impress. Shame, because the app is really good! Easy to use/manage vs a couple of others I've tried. I'd give 5 stars if the nightvision was better.Update - within two weeks of use outdoors, the camera tilt/pan function has become hitchy, and is not smoothly panning. I've reached out to Tapo several times now, with no reply at all. They seemingly have, no customer service at all. I really dont like that. Will be returning the item.

These cameras are just about perfect. They are quick to connect to the app and latency is low. The video quality is excellent in both daylight and at night. The connectivity has been excellent. The motion detection and tracking are accurate. The software is intuitive, has many truly useful features, and is updated frequently. My only complaint is that you cannot easily view the video feed on a PC, although it is possible with some effort.

My eyes were glazing over when I came across this item. I was trying to find a decent price for cameras to add to my security system. Pan and till HD cams at this price? Must be junk! NOT! These low cost cameras by TPLink (best known for network equipment) are a fraction of the cost for cameras by Blink, Ring and many others. They are very easy to set up, and they connect directly to your wifi network. Image quality on par or better with any of the above. And the response time, even if you are remote is nearly instant. You can subscribe to cloud storage, or just get an inexpensive MicroSD card to archive your clips. There are lots of options to configure your cameras just about any way you like. Adding additional devices is extremely easy after the first device because the network information is retained by the App. It's about as close to plug and play as this can get. And mounting is a breeze! (Mounting Hack: if you don't want to drill holes use an adhesive tape such as Alien Tape>) Sorry Ring, you just got Gonged!

I purchased this camera to keep an eye on my elderly dog while I am away from the house. This camera was easy to set up works great for what I need. I love that it has the pan feature so I can pan the room, the camera is not just set on one thing/ area. You can talk through the camera but I have not used that feature as I do not want to freak my dog out if she can hear me but not see me. I also love that it was not super expensive and I can add cameras to the app should I want more around my home.
