I have been in PT for nearly two years, and the thing I consistently get the most out of is EMS. I'm trying to get to where I can discontinue PT (with my team's agreement), but I don't want to give up stim, so I bought this to try a home option. I've had another in earlier years and it did not do much, but I am surprisingly thrilled with this unit. For the price point, it actually works very well. I have been pleasantly surprised to find it does a better job than I had expecting for a small, "civilian" unit. It's very simple to use, it's compact, the pads are of good quality and it's easy to get replacements for them, and they stick extremely well for a handful of uses. I think I've gotten around 8-10 uses per pad. I use this little machine daily and I do feel a difference, as gauged by less pain and better sleep. Great product for a reasonable price.

I bought this AVCoo TENS unit hoping for some relief and ended up wondering why I didn’t get one sooner, because this little device absolutely gets the job done. The pads stick really well (no peeling off mid-session), the settings are easy to understand, and the different modes actually feel different instead of all being the same buzz with fancy names. It gives a strong, consistent massage that feels like tiny professionals going to work on sore muscles, and the intensity levels go high enough to mean business without feeling out of control. I’ve used it on my back, shoulders, and legs, and every time it delivers that “ahhh” feeling that makes you sit there longer than planned. Battery life is solid, the screen is clear, and switching modes is simple even if you’re half asleep relaxing. Fair warning though—start low unless you enjoy being politely reminded that electricity is not a joke. Overall, it’s a great massager for pain relief and muscle relaxation, works exactly as advertised, and for the price it feels like having a mini massage therapist that doesn’t talk and never asks for a tip.

This works extremely well. I bought this to try if it would help with my peripheral neuropathy. It does. It's actually been one of the best treatments, if not the best. I also have a herniated disk which can cause back and leg problems. The AVCOO has worked amazingly. The other nice part is that there are multiple settings for different areas, BUT it also has TANS, EMS, and Relax. And they are all significantly different. Now the other point; there is a learning curve. It's likely worthless if you don't know where to put the pads. Look up your desired effect, and place the pads and set the mode accordingly

Ordered this for my boyfriend and I, and it helps our sciatic pain a lot. Not over priced and the different levels you can use are great. Both of us can be down for days with pain and this has helped nip that before we go down. I’ve suffered personally for 20+ years and can’t go to a chiropractor. Neuro Dr advised not to after last time being put in the hospital for 3 days and unable to walk. This is not a cure by any means but it definitely relieves that sciatic when it flares up. Previous reviews and price are what pushed my decision. I’m glad I purchased. The rechargeable battery is a nice option as well.

Works great to release tension in my neck and helps with my migraines. The battery life is long lasting. My only complaint is it doesn’t always stick well.

This little unit is extremely powerful. I have been suffering from bulging discs and paresthesia for 7 months now. My physical therapist loaned me an extremely expensive and complicated unit that has been wonderful, but because I have to return it to him, I took a chance on this one. Although it lacks many of the features that the professional unit has, it hits MUCH HARDER than the professional unit. Honestly, although it lacks the sophistication and features of the professional unit, it is much more effective simply due to the unit's strength. If you are looking for a basic unit then this really is the one for you!

I recently had surgery that involved a lot of sitting and laying during recovery. This led to body stiffness especially in my neck. I went to the chiropractor and he commented on all the knots I had in my back and especially my neck. He would adjust everything and before I got back out to my truck I could feel it all tightening again. I tried heat, cold, pain relievers, laying down, walking around, and hot baths. I got my back to loosen up but not my neck to my shoulders. My daughter and Chiro both suggested a TENS so it was certainly worth a try. It took a couple of weeks but my neck loosened up. This is a great little unit that comes with everything and is easy to use. It has different settings for mode, timing, and intensity. Wish I’d have bought one years ago!

Update: I got the unit to work and although I got it for muscle recovery, I found it to be SUPER helpful and enjoyable for lower back and pelvic aching. Feels like a little escape/massage that I can easily enjoy while working from home or relaxing in the bed before going to sleep for the night. It really is a great product and $23 well spent!
