HANAGAL Men's Otarriinae Water Shoes, Ultralight and Quick Drying

I have been wearing these shoes for a couple of months now and finally feel ready to give an in-depth review of the product. I work in the outdoor recreation industry and have used these shoes for a varitey of sports including stand up paddleboarding, rafting, backpacking, mountain biking, and whitewater kayaking.Overall, I have really enjoyed these shoes. The fit is excellent (my feet tend towards wide) and the closure system works great. They are super breathable and light. The shoe drains very quickly and the sole grips hard surfaces very well.I do have some suggestions to make them even better. First of all, after a month of pretty hard use, the front of the shoe cracked. It may have become brittle because of the consistent wetting and drying , but they didn't last very long.The sole grips very well on hard, smooth surfaces and would be great for boat shoe, but they don't work well on slippery rocks or raft rubber. They aren't lugged and definitely wouldn't work well for a trail runner. I don't do a ton of sailing, so after a couple of month I found myself turning to other shoes first.I also noticed that while they drain very well, they collect sand and rocks on the inside. If I walked in the shallows for any length of time, I would need to take my shoe off to clean it out.I would guess that with a different sole, and materials that won't crack in a short time, that these would be a great addition to anyone's gear library. I really enjoyed them in the hot summer weather when my feet want to breath, but as far as a water shoe they leave a decent amount to be desired.Cheers,~Ben

I ordered this shoe in US 10 (EUR 43) and found it to fit excellent. The lace system works well to adjust specific tension on the shoe, while the elastic tongue and flexible outer allow the shoe to form well to your foot. Worn with athletic socks it fit well. I found that it also had enough stretch to afford a neoprene 2mm sock comfortably.COMFORT: Very ComfortableThe support and cushion of these shoes is good. I’ve done some long wet/dry hiking in them and had no issues after a full day. The shoe breathes/ drains extremely well, and flexes with movement due to the elastic along the tongue, without allowing your foot to shift around inside. Great walking/ hiking shoe built with an athletic soul.QUALITY: DurableSo far, so good. The shoe is made of high quality, flexible, breathable material that has so far held up great. I am often rough on my shoes, recreating outside, and these have been up to every challenge. I have run, walked, hiked, and swam in them without disappointment.

I looked at numerous shoes. I was lookingfor a tennis shoe and water shoe combination. A crossover shoe. Most of the water shoes I looked at were very thin especially in the heel section. These looked a little more substantial in the heel as they actually looked like there was some padding in the heel area. The shoe itself looked more substantial than other quick dry water shoes. This looked more like a sneaker or tennis shoe than a thin water shoe and the price was very good. So I ordered the shoes. I can not give any information on the durability of the shoe since they arrived today. But I can say they look fantastic. I put them on and they fit true to size and they are very comfortable. They are not flimsy at all. They look very well made and look more like a tennis shoe than a mesh quick dry water shoe. I really couldnt be happier. I gave 4 stars because I can not attest to the durability since I just received them. But they seem to be really well made and and look very nice. I am very happy and satisfied with this shoe.Update: I have had the shoes about a week now. I am still happy with them. As far as looks, I wish they were not all gray. I would like to see a secondary color on the shoe. Not a lot, but maybe a white sole, or some red threading going through the strings. Being completely gray looks dull. Not a big deal here, I just think a splash of another color would look much better. I still love the shoes and would buy them again.

I tried several hiking shoes, but had to send them back for various reasons. This one fit just right and quality looks good. Have very good "springy" feel to them and good grip. Used them on my trip to the Amazon (not the store, the river) and they held up well on land and in water. The only complaint that the little nob holding the top of the laces fell off. But I tied them together and it worked fine.

Fit was tight but will streatch to make for a good fit with wear.Tongue is gusseted which means secured to sides of shoe thereby making it harder to open up the shoe to put on. Laces come with a sliding closure, you don't tie the shoe as delivered. You can make it that way if you want but you'll need to purchase regular laces.

it is so comfortable shoes, I bought this for using at beach, the shoes really surprised me is it is got dried very fast, I don't know how they made it happened, just wonderful. High arch support this shoes got, extremly comfortable when I was walking on rocky way, the design perfectly matches what people needs when in the hill and cliffs. of cause I will give this shoes 5 stars rating.
