Our next door neighbors were having a VERY difficult time minding their own business while we enjoyed our back porch. Problem now solved! I must say, these are not what I was expecting in terms of an "outdoor" curtain. The fabric is very soft and velvety. I thought they'd feel more like vinyl. I guess it's okay for outdoors. I was just thinking about how they would do in rain...but considering the fabric, they'll definitely dry right up with no issues. You can always take them down and wash them as needed. Anyway...Im very happy!

I got this to protect my balcony from rain getting all over it and my furniture. So far it has done the trick. Works well to block out the rain and sun on my balcony and went up relatively easy as well. It's nice to have something to keep my area dry finally. Material seems sturdy and durable.

I waited to review these because I wanted to test them out in the elements and see how they would hold up throught the summer. So far they have been great all summer long. they block the sun from hitting us while we are trying hang out on our back porch. I chose the tan color for the curtain because I felt that if they were going to fade it would be far less noticable than a solid color or even than grey. I think they may have faded since we hung them but it is hardly noticeable. we had to try very hard to see a slight difference which is AMAZING! The color held on well through the summer sun and many rain storms we had this year. I have them hanging on a wire as an economical way to get them up fast and it looks great. They are a thich heavy curtain and built well. They have done a great job all summer keeping sun out, the wind at bay and making our back yard look famulous!

I strongly recommend that you pay attention to the reviews…the stated measurements are not the actual size. It’s at least 6 inches longer on all 4 sides. I would have returned it but I had a celebration party for my daughter’s graduation and had to jimmy the canopy to make it fit, Otherwise the wind would have blown it off. I’ll probably buy another brand because I had to use tie downs to make it work.
