Small Pistol Case
I like this pistol case. I put my Ruger LCP 380 with 3 magazines and it fits perfectly.I could put my Glock g43x with 2 or 3 magazines and it'll fit nicely as well.I highly recommend this case .x MadVic

OK Pistol Case
At the time I bought this case there were no reviews on it, so I decided to gamble and purchased it. For $38.99 I expected to get a product of better quality. Now that I have this case, I think it's overpriced and I would probably not have paid more than $25 - $28 for it, but maybe that's just me.The "diamond plate" is just a vinyl layer covering the plastic lid and bottom parts of the case. I'm assuming that, by the way it sounds when I tap the sides of the case, this vinyl layer is covering what appears to be aluminum (it kind of sounds the same when you tap the hinge, which is one long piece) . The vinyl can be easily nicked. I showed the case to a friend and he nicked one of the "plates" by sinking his fingernail into it.The foam in the lid is glued, but the two layers of foam in the container can be removed. The case holds my pistol and two magazines; however, when I close the lid, the right side pops open a little (removing the magazines doesn't help much). Probably this wouldn't happen if they had used slightly thinner foam layers.I think a nice feature this case has is the combination lock, but the combination dials can sometimes be a bit hard to move... It's no big deal for me, but others might find it annoying.Overall, the case does look nice and snugs the pistol well; it's good enough for carrying it to the range. However, this case should NOT be used for safe storage since it could easily be pry opened. If the product was of better quality (i.e. "plates" actually made of hard plastic), I would have given it four stars.EDIT (20110806):After almost 8 months, the lock stopped working. Even after scrambling the combination, the lock would still open and, after a while, it wouldn't open at all... I had to pry the case open to get my gun out... I'm downrating this product from 3 to 1 star.

Case Review
In case of emergency the numbers get stuck at times and would be hard to see at night. Otherwise works well to keep gun out of reach of kids. Lightweight.

Worked for 5 months
Worked fine for 5 months under normal to light use and then the lock stuck. Replaced it with a hard plastic case with holes inside handle for TSA locks.
