This book stands out as being both informative and approachable. The author explains technical topics with ease, and each topic progressively builds off of the one that came before. This book would make an excellent reference. I could see it being useful for supplementing coursework or as a stand-alone introduction on neural networks. If you’ve been searching for a book on neural networks for school, work, or self-learning, look no further.

This book was very informative for breaking down how different aspects of computer network works, and the large amount of other things (programs, hardware, services etc.) that go into it all, but overall I still find this topic harder to grasp. This book will however be a great reference resource for me if I need information on how a spcific aspect of the network works. I can just look up and read about it.

In addition to providing explanations for each topic, Kimmel has organized the book so that you can easily reference back to the information you need. Regardless of your familiarity and skill level, everyone should have a basic understanding of computer security, networks, and data protection. This book is an excellent tool to assist with that knowledge.

This guide truly is all-in-one: covering everything from the evolution of computers, to basic knowledge, to advanced topics. The author uses easy to follow terminology which makes it a breeze to read. This book would make an excellent reference for anyone searching for knowledge on this topic. I truly thought I knew most things about computers and I’m so glad this book proved me wrong!

As someone who had to become very familiar with computers, their applications, cyber security, etc, at University, I thought I had conquered everything! But after reading this book, I realized I am far from perfect. This "Bible" is filled with all the tech knowledge and skills you need to become a computer pro. For those new to technology or someone like me who stupidly thought they knew it all, it is a simple & straightforward way to begin your journey or expand even further.The world of computers and internet networking is massive and here to stay.
