Wheel lug nuts for Tacoma
Purchase these lug nuts last June. The black color is coming off. All I did is place a set of wheel locks in the same color. Not so quality after all. I hope Amazon help me get a replacement set of lug nuts.

Issues with how these are made
I have a couple of issues with these lug nuts. The washers are pressed on and then both the nut and washer are painted. This leads to the lug nuts having washers stuck in the splines. The paint build-up between the washer and nut basically fuses the parts together which also leads to some having paint scratched off the splines. There is no consistency which raises some QC questions and could lead to nuts not being properly torqued. Higher quality lug nuts like the OEM ones offered from Toyota have the crown of the nut powder coated or painted, with the washer and base of the nut galvanized or super finished to resist corrosion. By painting the entire nut, this will introduce corrosion where you won't see.The other complaint is how the nuts were packaged. By not being individually protected, they tumble inside the box and the finish is damaged.. Every one of the 24 lug nuts I received had paint chipped and missing. I would spend more money on better quality lug nuts.

Improvement Over OEM
Direct replacement for 3rd gen Toyota Tacoma lug nuts. I put these on my '17 pro and they match the color/shine of the stock rims perfectly. I'll update this review after they've been on the truck for a while but so far I am very pleased with these. They were exactly what I was looking for!

Not OEM
These aren’t OEM and don’t look like what’s pictured in the listing. The pic clearly looks like “black chrome” OEM that are very pricey. The actual coating is a very thick, soft “paint” the conical portion of the lug is NOT like the OEM. I was able to seat them on the wheel using a torque wrench with some minor damage to coating. We’ll see if they hold up. Disappointed.

Cheap and effective
They recommend you don’t impact gun them, I found they held up well anyway. I off-road the rig so I wasn’t super concerned about it.
