Supportive, well-constructed, but confining
I spend a lot of time on a computer and needed wrist support. I've tried others and liked the design of this one. It's OK, but I must need a lot of space for my mousing because I found it confining.Pros:+It's well-made with smooth, fabric covered neoprene. There were no frays or loose edges. My mouse glided easily across it with excellent movement capture.+The edges and the wrist rest in particular is a supportive gel. The height seems to help the hand/wrist alignment without excessive pressure.+I like that the bottom has a grippy silicone to keep it from sliding around on my desk or keyboard tray.+The shape and size seem generous. The inner pad has a full 8 inches at the widest point with 7.5 inches depth. This is also a con for me (see below).Cons:-To me, this has a large footprint and takes up a lot of space on my keyboard tray. This would be OK if all of the space it takes up was also usable for mousing, but with those raised edges on the sides where you wouldn't ordinarily rest your wrist, there's a fair amount of space that isn't usable.-Those raised areas in the non-wrist area also make this mouse very confining. I kept hitting the edges and had to lift my mouse to reach my destination. For me, the continuous bumping up against the edges is very annoying.

Comfortable
This mouse pad caught my eye because of the unusual shape. I am so glad I gave it a try. It is even more comfortable than the traditionally shaped ergonomic mouse pads. It has a lower profile that I believe fits my wrist more comfortably. Other kinds are excellent and most definitely help with pain, but they seem a bit high to me. This quality is excellent, and the pad is filled with a comfortable soft gel.

Great And Unusual
This pad is everything you need in a mouse pad, and maybe a little more.It is comfortably designed, what the advertising or marketing guys would call “Ergonomic”. Ergonomic, schmergonomic, it makes me not hurt. I like not hurting. It comes with a peel off plastic backing, revealing a “sticky” feeling black rubbery gel-like surface which makes it not move on whatever desk surface it rests. The surface of the mouse pad is smooth and silky to the touch, and remains smooth and comfortable even after several hours of use. The pad is washable according to the manufacturer. That is a nice extra for those of us that eat and drink where we work, and “occasionally” spill or drop something. That almost never happens…I have mixed feelings about the circular rim. The wrist support is great and has that soft but solid gel feel. The circumferential rim is unique. Your mouse can’t escape! It is walled in! I guess you can say that you will always know where your mouse is, corded or cordless. The only drawback to the edge is that I’ve “lost” the pointer on the screen occasionally, and had to move the mouse around to “find” it. Left, right, up, down, pick up, move, put down…where is that pointer? The castle wall around the periphery of this mouse pad makes this “hunting for the wild mouse pointer” a bit more challenging as it limits movement, but this is really nitpicking and not a big deal. So, what makes a mouse pad good or bad? For me, wrist support is first and foremost. I want the pad to be comfortable (and safe) to touch. Staying in place is important…it is frustrating to move the mouse and have the mouse pad move with it. I’d like to be able to clean it, or even throw it in the washing machine if “someone else” got food or beverages on it. Finally, I would like a long, useful product life. This pad fits all the requirements

I use this everyday and like the wrist support
I placed my wireless mouse in this and it provides excellent support for my wrist as I spend a lot of time at the computer. I also like the color and feel of it at my workspace. I can recommend this product.

Ergonomic design
I can easily irritate my wrist if I don’t use ergonomic products. I like how the mouse pad has the gel wrist area on all sides of the mouse pad, as well.
