I thought this vacuum technology is just overrated but I am surprised on how this product performs; it's silent, powerful when you need it, light weight (for a while then it feels heavier over longer periods of use but is negligible), includes essential accessories, easy to dispose canister contents, and most specially the overall convenience having this vacuum is well worth the price you pay for it. Battery life of this handheld vacuum is decent and it completely charge it battery at a fast rate. If you ever find it on reduced price I suggest you grab that opportunity.

I've been resisting 'spending this much money on a Vacuum' since my wife and I met, but we finally got a nice Dyson. I was hesitant about the battery vs wall plug design, as we have a 2600 sqf apartment, and I didn't expect the vacuum to last for an entire house-cleaning. I WAS WRONG !! This thing is fantastic !! I did the first house-clean yesterday, and as it was not too dirty, the Dyson V11 made a great tool. Battery life lasted for the whole house (on eco .. and I was thorough, even moved the couch out of the way) .. keep in mind that the battery life is for 'trigger on' time, not overall cleaning time. As you move things out of the way etc, you release the trigger and battery does not drain until you pick it up and start again. The clean-out process is a good one also, 3 or 4 times I had to empty out all the dust & hair. Cannot recommend high enough, although the wall-bracket should come with sticker-mounts vs the screws only. I used some IKEA double-side tape mounts and it seems to be holding nicely. For longevity, I really hope this vacuum sticks around for the long-term.if there was one flaw, I would say that due to the nature of the 'steering the power head' gimbal, when you need it to steer left/right most of the time it's great, but if you have the vacuum lying flat, such as when you're vacuuming under a bed or couch, the steering during those moments is rather difficult, hard to make fine adjustments. Perhaps I'll get used to it in time ?? Otherwise happy cleaning !!

Not even 1 year passed and vacuum stopped working. Dyson official service rejected to proceed with maintenance as is was bought via Amazon. Can’t contact seller via Amazon or get the invoice.

Works really well but battery lasts only 1h after charging all night. If you have an apartment larger than 1 room it is useless.

It's, quiet, easy to empty, has long-lasting battery, is efficient and seems very sturdy. It's a Dyson. Not much else to comment on. Worth the attractive price on Amazon

Purchased this to supplement a corded vacuum, and keep it in a stand and charger so it is ready to grab all the time. Because it is handy, it gets used more often and the kids think it is fun so even they are doing more to clean up after themselves. Amazon had the best price on this model (with click in battery) but it is still quite expensive so I deducted one star for value. In operation it is powerful and quiet and the powered sweeper head does a surprisingly good job considering it doesn't have corded levels of power.

It's perfect so far. I live in a one bed room apartment and it made my life so much easier. Highly recommend it

I thought the click in battery is extra add on?Without you cant charge it. The explanation made me think its already charging and then plus battery but its not!
