Great fun
Great fun for adults and kids alike. The string is separate when arriving, so if it’s for little ones you’ll need to set it up beforehand. Comes with a nice little carry bag, and glove, and various accessories. Ideal gift. And although I’m not a yo-yo pro, it was easy to use.

a bit heavy for a yoyo imho
ok so first off, this is a pretty good kit for a beginner, you get everything you need to get started. a good quality yoyo, loads of spare strings and an instruction guide for beginners of how to size and fit your strings, and the addition of a carry pouch is nice. the yoyo works well but im pretty sure its not well balanced, as unless i throw it at a weird angle it spins and wobbles like a washing machine jumping around on a crazy spin cycle. the finger spin hubstacks are a cool feature ive not seen on a yoyo before but have heard of vaguely many moons ago. the finger spinners can be a little tricky for my 6yo to get a hold of whilst its spinning due to small hands. the only other things to mention is that the yoyo is a bit heavy and very solid for a beginner yoyo. i have imaginings of a hard yoyo flying into teeth or breakable items and causing catastrophic damage. a lighter weight yoyo would have been better for a beginner im sure. that being said it does indeed work well and the bearings spin well. there can sometimes also be a bit of a rattle from the finger hubstacks but thats a minor thing

Quality item!
I've had a few yo-yos over the years, but my children are quite new to this and we were looking for a responsive one to help them start out. This one is absolutely spot on for both beginners as a set and also for those more experienced as a good yo-yo that works really well. The strings that come with this allow you to cut to size to suit the user and there's spares if needed. The yo-yo fits well in your hand and it's quite easy to get to grips with the basics to ensure you can have it spinning at the bottom of the string in no time! More in depth tricks are a few steps away for my boys but they're loving learning just like I did in the 80s!Great quality, great performance, great item!

Fabulous yo-yo for beginners
This yo-yo arrived in a colourful cardboard box protected in it's own carrying bag complete with accessories. In the bag was the yo-yo itself, 12 strings, a yo-yo glove, spare finger spinners and instructions. This is a responsive yo-yo, so suitable for beginners, with the addition of the finger spin option really adding to the fun.I've failed miserably with unresponsive yo-yos but was actually able a master a couple of tricks using this (with the help of a lot of video tutorials). The yo-yo is fabulously coloured in an almost luminous blue/green/turquoise hue which you can match with a choice of 6 string colours. The quality is great and it has everything you need to start a yo-yoing hobby. At £13.99, at time of review, I think it's great value and an excellent choice if you're learning.

Great yo-yo set
Includes different colours of strings all contained in a handy storage case. This is a step up from the yo-yo I had as a child. It is well balanced and suitable for anyone. My niece is slowly mastering using it.Brightly coloured, it's a great way to keep children entertained.

It works, and looks cool
Very cool looking yo-yo, we’ve got two of these now this one and Metal one. The only reason I’ve slightly marked it down is that it is a bit of a pig to set up, and the bearings are a little bit too good. What this means is when you initially use it out of the box it will sleeper for too long, and you won’t be able to pull it back up. I actually ended up having to take both of them part and packing a little bit of grease in the bearings. Just give it a little bit of friction to allow to pull back up , this work flawlessly and a very nice quality. Several strings, in different colours and overall everything seems to be very good quality. If you have the same issue as mine with it not pulling straight back up, just add a little bit of grease or something slightly thicker than the normal bearing oil that’s been used in it. You can do this just simply by twisting it apart and this will reveal all the bearings.Happy to recommend

Posh yo-yo offers advanced tricks!
This yo-yo is rather posh! I've never owned such a fancy one before. When I received it, I was genuinely excited to set it up. The instructions were clear enough for me to attach it to the string and get it working. This yo-yo is unresponsive, which means it doesn't automatically return when you tug on it—you have to learn how to bind it to make it come back up. Every time I throw it down, it sleeps effortlessly without any special effort on my part. This allows me to perform many tricks, and it only returns when I want it to, which is fantastic. As a beginner, I just learned how to bind it by watching a few YouTube videos. It's a really nice advanced yo-yo. I remember the ones I had in the past that sometimes slept and sometimes didn't. This one sleeps every time, and it's amazing how I can perform so many tricks without it returning unless I execute the bind trick. The instructions on string length and cutting were also excellent, preventing it from hitting the ground when I throw it down. It comes with several strings in different colours, and even a yo-yo glove—quite amusing! The fingers needed for tricks are bare, while the glove covers the ones not in use.It also includes a zip-up hard shell case to carry everything, which I think is a nice touch. Overall, I really like this yo-yo. I'm pleased I discovered it!

Good once you figure it out
This is a good yoyo for Beginner or a older child who likes yoyos or wants to get into them... Its a little faffy to get the string linked to the yoyo.. But then it's a fairly good yoyo smooth mechanism and not heavy...Ideal for beginners in my opinion.... Should provide lots of fun... I like the borough colours...Only criticism maybe a little overpriced...
