Coffee 5lb House Blend Ground Medium Roast Coffee, 80 Ounces, Bulk, 100% Arabica

I was looking all over the web for a coffee which is a fresh 100% Arabica that is similar or better to Starbucks. I searched for hours and looked at 100s of varieties and brands when I stumbled onto this brand. All I can say is this coffee is THE best coffee I have ever had. Whether you are looking for a hot brew, espresso, or other style of brew this coffee is versatile, robust, mellow, and is roasted within 24 hours prior to shipment. Absolutely incredible! I will never, ever, buy any other brand again...ever. And if this review doesn't prop itself up then add that "100% profits go to orphaned children" and that it is a Christian organization. With or without the companies' compassion and spiritual integrity this coffee is stupendous! Buy it now and you will not regret it.

So if you're one of the people like myself who's been distressed watching your favorite coffee's price rocketing to almost double in the last year this stuff is for you. 1st, lowest per ounce increase I have seen anywhere. Everywhere else I can find this is about $20/lb, so do the math. I am more than happy to see the pickers in Ethiopia get some more $, sure they need it. Unfortunately my employer seems to believe that we here do not. 2nd, it's really good. Just opening the bag the aroma was heavenly. It hits all the other notes you want as well, fresh and consistently smooth every cup so far, very important as I take my coffee black so all the goodness is just the coffee. I like the blonde roast, means the highest caffeine level without adding anything for my regular coffee (I keep something else around for my espresso). I know most prefer a darker roast than that, the brand has other varieties and roasts available, if they're this good you shouldn't be disappointed. Cons aren't really cons. The bag is not resealable and it's 5 lbs, which is allot of coffee. You could just use a couple zipper bags to keep it in but I happen to have kept a couple large coffee cans for keeping coffee in. You will need the big ones, it filled 2.

There are a few brands competing for the Organic 5 lb whole bean market on Amazon. I like this one the best for a few reasons: 1. They roast these beans to order before shipping, so you aren't getting a stale product that's been sitting in an Amazon warehouse. 2. 100% of the profits go to a cause that supports African orphans-now it is a Christian charity, which rubs me the wrong way because I think these groups should do the work they do without forcing their foreign beliefs onto children, but otherwise it seems a worthy charity. And 3. The flavor is top notch. Light roasted Yirgacheffe has become my favorite daily brew and when I try something new to switch things up, I usually regret it. This coffee checks all the boxes and I highly recommend it. There are just a few places outside of Amazon that I occasionally order coffee, but 9/10 times I just purchase this one because the ease of ordering, price, and excellent flavor make it a no brainer.

I don’t know what happened to this coffee but the last order I got had no aroma and hardly any flavor and it’s suppose to be dark roast. Even tried adding more grounds to water and still really had no flavor. Cancelled my subscription.

Excellent product, my husband won't drink any other coffee. Very quick response and delivery. And then to discover that the company donates a portion of profits to help orphaned children! Super happy to support them.

This truly an amazing coffee! It's a great value! I have made it in a pour over and pod, it's doesn't disappoint to bring out the bold flavor and smoothness. I openly admit I am a coffee snob and sought out this coffee knowing the growing region it's from because it tends to be more aromatic and flavorful. I highly recommend this coffee!
