Exactly What They Claim to Be
It's small, it's sharp, it folds flat and secure and unfolds easily and reliably, it has a file and nail curette. Takes almost no room in my tiny purse toolbag. The case could be smaller, but the nippers work so well I don't care, and the case is both optional and usable for other small items. The leather is nice and supple, so smaller would probably be doable.I'll update this once they need sharpening. Either getting them apart or finding a file tiny enough to get in there while keeping the bevel smooth is going to be interesting. They're holding their edge well though, so that might be a while. Good steel.

I've been using this type of fingernail clipper for more than 30 years.
I like how sharp it is ans the little case that came with it. The file that is part of the design is only good when there is no other option.

Cuts great, quality poor
My dad had a pair just like these that he bought at a airport 50 years ago. Unfortunately he forgot to take them out of his pockets when he went to court to pay a ticket and they were taken. He tried to find them again but unfortunately the company, that was based out of france, went out of business/ bought out. The craftsmans ship of those clippers was flawless. They clipped just as good as they day he bought them 50 years ago. I was thrilled when I found these. Upon opening them I was a little disappointed. While they cut great the craftsmanship is poor. They do not sit flush down, they will hook on anything in a pocket. There was a crease in the metal. When opened it goes to the side. These would be great pocket clippers if it wasnt for the sloppy craftsmanship. Clippers cut great and file works great too, craftsmanship poor.

Fantastic!
Been carrrying these daily, since I always seem to notice the need for trimming nails at odd times. In fact the other day while hiking down a trail I was so happy to have these clippers to trim my toenails. Yes, odd times..

Pleasantly surprised
I am happy with the construction and way it works, it is a replacement of a Tweezerman one I lost and this one is much more solidly made. Only down side was that it took several weeks to get it since it shipped from the Czech Republic.

The One True Clipper
Expensive, but this little sucker is sharp and effortlessly cuts smooth and clean, no tearing. File is very good too. Costs twice as much as drug store clippers, but these actually work well. Fifteen years ago (?), I bought a couple, threw the cheap ones away, and have never looked back. One gets used to a quality tool.

Apples & Oranges....
German grade precision is immediately apparent once we opened up packaging & held in hand. We had another compact folding clipper that was nice but got lost by 3yr old, but now that we’ve used this one....the other to think of it does not compare in precision quality in cutting....

Great Nail Clipper
I lost my Inox clippers which were about 15 years old. Glad to get my new ones which are great and come in a nice leather pouch. Highly recommend.

Nice item
Very nice small nail clipper. It can be folded into very thin one. Easy to take out but also easy to lose..
