The Ellis Rugby Scotland Polo Shirt. The design of this Polo Shirt incorporates the vintage Scottish Crest as well as Ellis Rugby branding. The vintage Scottish Crest features on the left chest of this T-Shirt with Ellis Rugby branding on the arm. The first international rugby football game resulted from a challenge issued in the sporting weekly Bell's Weekly on 8 December 1870 and signed by the captains of five Scottish clubs, inviting any team "selected from the whole of England" to be played under the Rugby rules. The game was played at Raeburn Place, Edinburgh, the home ground of Edinburgh Academicals, on 27 March 1871. Manufactured from 100% chunky pique cotton. The Scotland Polo Shirt features detailed embroidery on the vintage Scottish Crest, contrast inner placket, arms and collar stand. Also included on this garment is herringbone detail on the vents and velvet tape on the neck opening. In addition subtle Ellis Rugby branding features on the collar stand and tone on tone logo on the arm. Please note this Polo is not a licensed product, nor is it a playing shirt. It is inspired by the national heroes who have played the wonderful game of Rugby Football.
