Best Turf management products
This Hydro product was used to help restore lawn plant growth and vibrancy around very mature trees with significant root systems competing for moisture. Significant reduction in water use and significant reduction in plant loss which has been around 90% in prior years down to about 30%. This is also a high traffic area in summer months. The entire product line has provided results that far exceed any previous chemical lawn products and has allowed for a significant reduction in water use. I do allow for plant loss as a compromise to water use which is necessary in my town. Fall weather will revive plant growth.

Hard to tell how much difference it makes
We live in Colorado where the air is dry and the soil notoriously full of clay and rocks. Usually our grass dries out and is brown by July. So we applied this in early May in hopes that it would help hold water and keep the grass greener longer. We used a hose spray attachment (not provided). But then this spring was much wetter than usual (thank you El Nino) so our grass would have stayed green longer anyways. So it is hard to tell how well it worked.

Helpful product to retain the water in your lawn.
I live in the drought-stricken West, so any product that helps to retain and reduce the amount of water we irrigate our lawns with is of interest to me. I've used Revive and similar products in the past with mixed results, so I wanted to try this out in hopes it will do as it says.It arrived fairly quickly and was well packaged. The container is double sealed, so there was no leakage during shipping. You can apply it with a pump sprayer or hose-end sprayer, I chose the hose-end option. Make sure to shake it well before use. It doesn't have a bad smell when you open it, which I was expecting. It's thicker than water, but not too thick, so it pours easily. As expected with using the hose-end sprayer, it applied very quickly and easily. It only took a few minutes to cover my entire lawn. After applying it you need to water it in. They recommend twenty minutes which I did. It's child and pet safe after watering it in.I'll have to wait a bit to see how well it retains any water in the soil, but early indications are that it does seem to help with keeping evaporation slowed down. The information on the bottle doesn't state how long you should wait before reapplying. I checked their website and didn't find it there either, so I'm assuming you just need to be observant and reapply when the effectiveness seems to be wearing off. If used at the suggested rate it will cover up to 8000 square feet in area.I will add to my review later after seeing how effective Turf Titan is, but based on the ease of application, safety for your pets and kids, and the decent price, I would recommend this for your lawn.

Numbers crunched—time will tell
I did my calculations, dialed in the sprayer, sprayed it down, watered it in.Reality: I only have until May 19 to review this. Consider it was sprayed April 30th. This needs to be a 12-month assessment of extended and regular use.I will use this every 4-6 weeks in the same manner and report back my observations. These wetting agents are only able to be reviewed if put down around May 1 and only by September will you know if they worked based on the condition of the lawn, the need to water, and the overall season. So for just the basic stuff—three stars. If I’m standing out in September marveling at my lawn and my water bill then I’ll raise to five stars.

Not necessary
I don’t love how tedious the steps are and it doesn’t seem to be much different than Dawn soap, which could suffice as a totally acceptable lawn amendment for the same purpose. It also lacks addition amendments that other soil softeners typically come with.
