Un-packaged this and put into use. Been using it almost every morning. I like how the water cylinder will fill with water and until you put the plunger in, the water doesn't flow. Nice! Easy to use and keep clean. Would buy again and recommend to others.

I've got an Aeropress - but there are times when travelling when it is just too messy to use on the go and the convenience of using a K-cup is the only way to get a good cup of coffee. This combines the best of an Aeropress with the convenience of a K-cup. Pop in a K-cup, add hot water, depress the plunger, and you have a fresh hot cup of coffee. But wait, there's more! Out of K-cups? They include a reusable pod that you can use with ground coffee, so you can use this either on-the-go or at-home without buying K-cups. Oh, and everything fits into the included padded carry sack for easy transport. Looking forward to using this the next time I travel!

Its nice for the option of occasional k-cup. Good product. Good quality on the components. Excellent reusable cup to use for my own grounds.I got feedback to grind more course and have tried both my own ground coffee and kcups. My grinder range is 1-6, so I have been using grind size 5 for this brewer and cold brew.For coffee, I have found pressing down slightly and pausing 30 seconds for coffee to bloom like I would in a pour over, then repeating that a couple more times makes a pretty good version. I love how quick and accessible this makes making coffee without using a machine. The most recent coffee I made, I used one tablespoon in the reusable cup with ten ounces of water. Normally it holds two tablespoons.I tried mulled spices as a tea and again used one tablespoon in the reusable cup. I tried a different method to extract by pushing down a little until it wet the grounds, then let it extract for four minutes like I would with tea, and then slowly pushed the water through to finish. I liked the results. Mulled spices were gentle coming through and made a nice tea this way with a hint of spice. Next time, I would use hot water from the tea kettle instead of thermos.I have been using a thermos after I heat water for the second or third cup.It fits well in a paper coffee cup and other types of cups besides the provided stainless cup.Its fun to drink out of the cup and I have put the cup and straw (without the lid) in the dishwasher. All the other parts with gaskets, I rinse off and hang dry. I like how it is easy to reapply the syringe to clean out remaining water as part of the cleaning process. I have been using it daily so it hasn't made it back to store in cupboard yet. Its getting quicker as I go just to rinse out the parts.The coffee taste from fresh ground I will continue to use this method along with cold brew.I much prefer this along with cold brew to other methods for making quick hot coffee. The taste of the coffee is better from fresh ground. I have made decaf k-cups, my own ground coffee, and just now mulled spices as a tea.Very accessible to use and clean, easy, and fun.

Catching this on sale was a huge steal! The others like it cost way more and don't even come with all the extras! I get a cool stainless steel cup with lid and straw in addition to the already sleek and high quality coffee press thing! Not to mention I can use either k-cups or the included filter thingy! Truly an incredible value and works exactly as it should. My only tip is to manually puncture the k-cup when placing it in as only the top gets punctured when the upper part goes on. There are pokers for the bottom.. I'm just saying push down a little harder when inserting the k-cup to make sure the bottom is punctured. Highly recommend.

I bought this to take with me for my trip. It worked beautiful the coffee taste wonderful just like as if I made it in my K cup Keurig at home. All you need is hot water in your cup. I’m sure I will be taking it with me other places I go.It is made very durable and easy to use. One hint that I did wrong first time I tried it without reading the instructions was that I didn’t push the K cup down into the pokey thing with my hand first.

I was excited about this because I camp/travel, and wanted this for my K-cups that I usually use at home in my Keurig. I really wanted to love it, but there was so much sludge in the bottom of the cup and coffee grounds floating in the coffee when I used it that I couldn’t drink it. I don’t know if the item I received is defective, but I will be returning it. I guess it’s back to instant or pour over coffee when I camp and travel.

While I don't usually use k-cups due to their cost, this was an intriguing product. It utilizes the advantages of k-cups (especially their ease of use and better flavor over typical ground coffee) without requiring an expensive machine. It does require some way of heating water, and best is a way to heat water to an appropriate temperature, like 195 degrees. If you have a kettle and want to use it to make coffee, at home or on the road, this is a great option. It comes in a very nice travel bag, and can store up to three k-cups within the plunger; even more if you get the k-cups that don't have the full plastic bin. But then you don't get the advantage of less oxidation of the grounds. I definitely recommend this product for camping or home use.

Works great but be careful if you use this on a ceramic mug, will slip. Don't rush the press & works with K cup style pods. There is a silicone sleeve available for a another brand but works on this. Helps with the hot boiling water when pressing. This press will get hot using boiling water, but will not burn. Some people may not be able to handle the heat, especially if you press into a mug. I keep it as a backup for when the Keurig machine fails (which seems quite often lately the 1st machine was the best, lasted almost 15 yrs)
