This is a well made training collar for control of strong dogs. It's well made, love the cover on the outside. The rubber tips on the prong ends protect the dog but allow control. Happy with the purchase

I was getting very frustrated walking my dog because he pulled hard on walks, especially when he saw people or other dogs and I was extremely hesitant to use one of these collars that had that prongs inside. My dog doesn’t seem to be bothered by the prongs, but he also recognizes the prongs are there and doesn’t pull anymore or give me problems walking. I hated the idea of walking him by his neck, but I barely have to even hold the leash anymore while he has this on. My 72 year old mother has been able to walk my 80+ pound 1 year old dog with little to no problem using this collar. Best collar I’ve tried for leash training

I am very disappointed that this has not worked out, regardless of high hopes & repeated attempts. Arrived with no instructions & no extra caps. I had to remove the caps on the collar anyhow because my dog had no reaction to the collar with them. I have adjusted & readjusted the size as much as I can. The smaller piece, that runs through the bulky piece holding the actual prongs, shifts easily on the neck, independently of the piece holding the prongs. Not sure how to better describe it. The collar is as tight as I can get it & will still rotate somewhat on his neck. What troubles me more is that the lock on the plastic closure snap wiggles loose EVERY time I use the collar. This seriously concerns me because I don’t ever need my dog getting loose, for anything. With everything in place, it DOES change my dog’s pulling & reactivity a great deal. I just don’t feel I can count on it long term & will now have to purchase the $80 Leerburg collar… which I was hoping to avoid. :(

While the collar is very well made, and seems sturdy, it won't work for me. It is probably great for a dog that is always in front of you and pulls, but my dog pulls sometimes and sometimes hangs back. This collar comes over her head and comes off if she pulls backwards. It also gets tangled in the long hair of her neck (she is a Golden Retriever). I think that it would be great for some dogs, but I will be trying a different collar next.

I just received this collar today. I have a six month old puppy that is very strong and willful and I got it for him. I am 95 pounds and a small 55+ woman and I have not been able to walk him without a fight. he has major issues with collars, and so I was using a harness which was no better with his pulling and tugging habits. I just tried the collar out for a relatively short walk and it’s amazing! Since he has issues with collars, I did not put it on tight, left some slack in it. It is remarkable how quickly he is learning not to pull and tug and to heel! I never thought that he would get over his neurosis about having something around his neck (he was a stray found at two months old with a rope around his neck, and his mother was deceased next to him 😣). This collar is truly miraculous, and I really look forward to walks with him every day now that we can both enjoy. Thank you to the manufacturer of this collar! I am so very grateful.

Works really well for my elderly but strong dog and is kinder on her neck than my previous choker chain and like that the chain is covered.Took a couple of walks and adjustment to get it fitted correctly.Really like how it locks and is totally secure.
