Poor battery time

Budget Drone at good price price point
Comes in a pack well folded. And with two batteries, which is definitely a requirement as the battery doesn't last much and helps with a slightly longer duration of playtime. The instructions are not great, and can be an easy improvement I would suggest. The drone itself is an average quality product, but I would have expected that to be so considering the price point. The flying is alright, no complaints there. And the setting up with the mobile was also fairly easy. The camera quality was a bit stuck sometimes and isn't a great experience, but whenever it is okay, it does show quality video.Overall, if you are looking for some fun drone time at budget price, this is very good considering the price for value. At the time of writing, this was priced at £56.49

I really wanted to love this little drone .... but.
This drone comes with a controller 2 spare batteries, a storage case, 4 spare rotor blades and a charging cable, the drone itself is quite small and lightweight, the arms with the rotors on fold away making it easy to store. The controller is a little cheap feeling but it does the job and features a wide range of controls, it takes 3 AAA batteries ( not included) and has a mounting clip to hold your phone. In operation the drone is quite responsive and once you get the hang of it it's reasonably easy to control, it does struggle a bit if there is more than a light breeze due to it's light weight. The batteries have a capacity of 1800mah and last for around 10 - 15 minutes, thankfully the drone is compatible with E88/E99 drone batteries that are readily available on Amazon including slightly higher capacity 2600mah ones. The phone app does a pretty good job and gives you access to an array of extra functions. The drone is equipped with 2 cameras, one points directly down while the forward facing one has an adjustable angle that yo have to manually set before takeoff. Image quality is nice and clear and high resolution which the advertising claims is 8k, the framerate of the video though is not good and tends to be very choppy, personally I would have much preferred a lower resolution image and a higher framerate.Flying the drone was going quite well until I did something to cause it to drift wildly out of control and I was unable to remedy this issue, I tried adjusting the trim controls but this did nothing, which brings me to the biggest issue I have with this drone - the manual if you can even call it that. It's basically just a single sheet of paper containing the barest minimum of information, it does very little to explain the functions of the various controls and has very little in the way of troubleshooting information.Overall I really wanted to love this little drone and it has the potential to be a lot of fun, but due to the terrible documentation and various other minor issues I can't really give it any more than 3 stars. If this drone had come with better instructions and a more suitable camera it could have been 5 stars easily especially given the low selling price of £56.49 at the time of writing this review, as it stands it feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.
