TLDR - It is a good beginner set. Pickleball is hard.Ok, I am rubbish at pickleball. Good. I feel better about getting that out of the way. I am better at it than tennis, but that is like saying I am better at walking than Olympic figure skating.These are very good pickleball paddles. They didn't help me be incredible, but they didn't explode in my hands either. I played for about an hour with my wife, and we had a good time. These are a great start for trying out Pickleball" for the first time. thee provide you with everything you need but the court and that is the easy part. I tried a friends "better" paddle and there was a marked quality difference but even he said these models would be great for getting anyone started into the game.

I’m late to the pickleball game, and I think I know why. Shortly after I ordered these and got excited about taking them out to play, two things happened. One, it got ridiculously hot, and I didn’t want to go out. Two, I discovered by doing a quick search that there are actually no pickleball courts within 30 miles of where I live. Oh well, when it cools down and I do some more research, I’m heading out. In the meantime, just messing around in the backyard, I’m pleased by how this set works. Lightweight, looks good, comfortable grips, and I think good performance, but I won’t know how good until I get to a court. By now, you know I’m no pro at the sport, just a beginner, and that’s why I didn’t try for a higher end set. If any of this sounds like you, give these a look!

Good paddles for beginner or intermediate players. Shipping Dept sent a different pattern but I like the pattern anyway so did not need to return it. Love the case and extra balls --allowed us to play immediately.
