works great
Looks amazing and booted up no problem. I don't have long boot times like some reviewers and it recognized my 14900kf just fine without a bios update. FYI update bios to avoid cpu Degradation I think most cpu problems are being caused by bad motherboards

I LIKE IT!
Well everything just worked flawless. I had a Asus z790 ddr4. Man I went through 5 boards. Every one ran the graphics card (4090) at 8x and no there was NO ssd there. The last one I got it worked at 16x. Man that was not a good board for me. I had 64gb ddr4 so that's why I went with it and it was white. But man this ASROCK baord .. sooo easy not one problem. Thank you ASROCK

Great product, with a pinch.
it's a great product. could use a wifi-BT option or an actual TB for some additional fee instead of just TB ready. would have give it a 5th star if it had one or the other. you could bypass the wifi-BT issue with a simple BT dongle for about 10$ so no big deal. the TB card costs more whilst some MB have it at lower overall price. all and all - I needed as much M2 and USB as possible so I'm happy with it. Desktop is also plugged into the wall so not having a wifi is not a huge thing. Pros: Gen 5 SSD and 4 more Gen 4. 32 USB sockets .

Would buy again
Works as expected. Replaced a Prime Z690 that was having a ton of boot issues.

BIOS not updated! Shipped with a 3.09 firmware, watchout if you intend to use a 14th gen.
if you intend to use this motherboard with a 14th gen cpu, make sure you have a 12th gen in hand since you will need to update the bios to the latest one to recognize the 14th series. It's shipped with a 3.09 firmware and you need at least 15.05 to Optimize BIOS default for 13&14th Gen K SKU by Intel recommended settings. The current latest as of this review is 21.02. ASRock should have refreshed their stocks with latest firmware instead of making its a buyer's issue to solve.

A little buggy
It’s an absolute beautiful board but booting takes forever from powered off to on. I don’t think this bird likes 14th gen CPU’s. (Pairs with i5 14600kf, 64gb Corsair vengeance and rtx 2080

Everything about this motherboard is A1 . However when I into UEFI Setup I was a bit confused 😕 as I never used an Asrock MB before Once I got my head around it I became a breeze to use. When I entered setup I was faced with a Purple background which was pleasantly eye catching just like the motherboard itself. Overall this motherboard is value for money and a great addition to a streamers setup 👌 👍

I bought this model for one simple thing: PURPLE I realise that this motherboard has a 'Marmite ' effect on people but it really seems to pull it off with me. Attention to detail and quality seems to be there with a 14+!+! phases and it does keep VRM temperatures under control-this is in part due to the large VRM heatsinks and no silly ARGB lighting in this area of the motherboard. The Asrock LiveMixer does allow for 5x NVME m.2 slots but oddly enough you can only use 4 at the same time. To make matters more puzzling is that the one single M.2 5.0 slot if one occupies that then it will slow down the first PCIE slot from 16x to 8x so renders in suitable for this. To make matters even more perplexing is that by occupying the 5.0 m.2 slot then it disables the one next to it so why offer this facility at all? But I think this is an issue for the z790 chipset at this budget range and even the more costly ones The Bios setup on this is both wonderful to behold and intuitive to use. Quality of components is there on the board and the design of it just screams 'I am for creative people' If you buy a waterblock for this motherboard or even a large heatsink just please be aware that there is not much clearance around the CPU socket to the VRM heatsinks. Pros: Creative colours and design ROCK SOLID and reliable not many ARGB leD'S (only a small strip on the front end) Fantastic BIOS Quite a few fan headers RGB and ARGB headers (for those that like that sort of thing) Well presented Cons: Watch out for CPU area Clearance using the m.2 NVME 5X slot slows down your graphics card not many accessories.
