Excellent buy. The metre is very sensitive to moisture & light only
I wanted a metre to measure moisture content of soil as many of my indoor plants got either dried up or had rotten because of improportionate watering. But on receiving the moisture metre I was surprised to see it’s unexpectedly very good sensitivity towards moisture & light. Actually some of the adverse comments which I read after placing the order disappointed me .But I posted a &question on the amazon site . I promptly got 3 answers all praising for its sensitivity. Now after receiving it I am highly satisfied with its functioning. A must have item for indoor plant lovers. Value for money. Thanks to amazon & thanks to the dealer.. It does not appear to measure pH. However as moisture meter it is very good.

Good product
The product arrived in good condition. Tested this on my existing plants and it seem to show proper results. There is no other product with me to do comparison, but based on my soil mix which is coco pith and compost it is close to neutral PH. Water and Light meter is also helpful. The packaging has list of plants with Light and Moisture levels for few popular plants. Happy with the purchase so far. Taking a star away due to high price.

Decent spild meter with 3 readings.
I had trouble with my outdoor balcony plants during mansoons. The issues was not knowing if the water soil content was less or more.The main purpose of this soil meter was to check the moisture of the soild and PH acidic content. Although it does show the reading am not quite sure of its accuracy.I may edit the review after a month or 2 if the readings prove to be much more assuring. For now the light sensor if quite accurate, in comparision to the moisture and acidic readings.

Product doesn't work as expected
I will tell the positive part first.I received the product within 1 day of ordering. Delivery was super fast and I was very happy to receive it quickly.I had ordered this product mainly for checking Ph of my soil, since many of my plants are turning yellow and leaves are falling.The Ph reading of this meter doesn't change at all. By default it shows between 7 and 8. Even after inserting in the soil, the same reading. Even if I put it inside water, the same reading. I tried in several different pots. While the moisture meter changes different reading, Ph meter doesn't move at all.Even the light meter is useless. Whether I keep it in dark room or outside the house, reading is same!!If anyone really wants to buy this product, then use it only for moisture. Don't expect it to work for Ph and Light.Thanks to amazon for taking it back (return) and issuing refund. Now, I have ordered another Ph meter on amazon. Waiting to try it out.

Not working.Highly unreliable product.
Bought for my project, tried in 4 different soil for few days. Here is what happens.All 3 readings are faulty. I have many other sensors chips which is used to compared data readings from different devices/modules.Update on readings -Soil Moisture/Water level - Will show dry in dry soil, but in even slightly wet soil like 40-50% it will always show 100% moisture in the soil ( reading 10 on scale)Light reading- For indoor usage tried under over 8 lighting systems, with 1-4 ft distance, it will always show around 3-5 while using luxmeter the readings are 300% more. Hence the reading are not correct and has variation of least 100-150% difference which is enough to fail your project.PH LEVEL - I think PH level is not working, it shows 6-8 PH level in all kind of soil. Even using in pure coco peat the PH is constant no matter what. Tested in 4-6 different soil.Note - I have tried this specific model over 4 times in last 10 years, all have similar incorrect reading values. Just because sometimes this device shows some random value does meant its true.

Easy to use, accurate enough but must be available at 200 or less.
I cross checked the result with litmus paper, and both seem to give similar values. Seems to be accurate, but should be a little more cheaper. I bought it at Rs. 340. I think the best price would be 200 for this. But as a hobbyist even 400 for this is fine.

Completely inaccurate
It shows different reading for same ph land and moisture levels depending upon how much its leg are deep in perticular medium.The more you increase depth the more concentration it will show for same sample.
