Good sights for a good price.
For the price of these sights I think you get pretty good value, Mounted to a DPMS Oracle and the gas block height is right sighted thru the bore and was right on. I did change front post to a medium ball .054 sight that is very nice. Riddled some soda cans at 50 yrds. Elevation is changed with front sight, up to go down and down to go up. Windage is changed with rear site knob that is marked with arrow and a R mark that are clearly marked.Large thumbscrews are nice for mounting and a quarter works nice in the slot. These are not for rails that are in the same plain only for low gas blocks and receiver rails. The UP and DWN marks on the left side of rear only indicates the fold down feature. The people that give this sight bad reviews just purchased wrong sight. For a flat top AR with a single plane rail you need something different. Most sight sets are made for the same plane but these are made for lower gas block rails for the front sight.

But the best thing is I can look thru the red dot ...
I ordered these for a DPMS Sportical 223/5.56 and they fit perfectly! The front flip up sight fits just right on the gas block, which is lower than the back sight on the flat top pic rail. I have a red dot scope already mounted on the pic rail and the back flip up sight fits perfectly behind it, even with flip top sight covers, it doesn't touch the sight. But the best thing is I can look thru the red dot scope and with both flip up sights up, I can see both sights thru the scope and the red dot aligns with the proper sight picture, actually sighted it in before hitting the range, then fine tuned it there. The material is heavy duty metal (won't melt on the gas block), feels rugged, heavy and sturdy. For this price and the quality, I would more than recommend these sights.

Hard to believe but the proof is in the puddin'!
I am sure I am going to get flack from some hard liner's with this review but, I call 'em like I see 'em. I have had these on my AR10 for almost 2 years now. Having used all the top branded mechanical sights, I'm not sure I would buy anything else. These things are as well made as they come, hold good mechanical zero and the mount is rock solid. I only had one complaint at first but it was quickly resolved; the rear sight was very stiff. After a little gun oil and a little time, that issue became non existent. One other thing that may be a problem for some is that unlike the polymer sights, you have to manually raise and lower these. Not sure it takes much more time, It was not a problem to me. Also, these are heavy. So if you are "tacti-cool" and have every useless attachment known to man on an AR that you haven't put 200 yards down range with, these probably aren't for you. It is so hard to believe that a sight this good can be had at such a low price point. It has really made me question the legitimacy of the "top tier" suppliers.

Not bad sights. Better than I expected
Arrived yesterday. Installed on my DPMS sportical AR. [Be advised that shooting ANY brand of steel cased ammo in a DPMS AR and/or replacing ANY parts on the AR will VOID the warranty according to the owners manual. Maybe I should have saved a little more money and bought a different AR. Like a Ruger AR 5.56}. Not bad sights. Better than I expected. Had to remove my scope cause even in the folded position, the rear sight was too high to fit under my scope, Solution, I installed 1 inch riser blocks on the upper receiver then reinstalled the scope. Have about 3/8 inch clearance now. The scope has quick disconnect rings [came with the UTG 3-9x40 scope} on it so it is really fast to remove the scope if I want to use the sights. will see how everything works this weekend at the range. Love Amazon. for all my shopping needs. Really love their 2 day shipping. Update. Zeroed in both the scope and flip up sights. Did not have any kind of problems. Fired a total of 100 rounds. So far.Very happy.

Item RCVD NOT THE SAME , BUT GOOD NEWS...
I wanted the MAGPUL set, BUT I needed a set that would mount on an uneven plane rail/metal gas block. MAGPULS, being plastic, warn that they are NOT for gas blocks and are for same plane rails so I looked for an AFFORDABLE set of metal BUIS. Since, at age 70, I am not now nor ever will be a "high speed, low drag" operator so I didn't need a set of those expensive, big end, NAME brand BUIS. With my old eyes, I depend on a quality, reliable optic foremost with little likely hood of ever having to transition to BUIS I might not even be able to see/use!!!Anyway, back to this set. I ordered these in spite of the pictures showing some big assed mounting knobs, but when the set arrived, those knobs have been replaced with nice, compact allen head screws. That meant taking them on/off would not be as easy or convenient (have to carry around a proper size allen wrench), but of little real consequence. Put them on my rifle, checked alignment with laser and my optic. Will check them at the range, sooner or later. My optic has a standard and lighted reticle so I'm pretty much covered. So overall, the set of sights I received are MUCH better than what I thought I was going to receive. Not sure if this was a fluke or that these are now the standard set now being shipped.

Fantastic for price
This is a very good alternative to expensive sights. They are accurate and well made. The build quality is fantastic. They hold zero on an AR.Two things to note:You will want locktite to keep the screws from coming loose. These are designed for gas block rails, not flat rails. If you mount the sights on a rail level with the upper recievrer they will aim 4 feet high.8/10 - fantastic for the price.

I ordered a set of nice, locking sights with push button flip up and ...
I ordered a set of nice, locking sights with push button flip up and hex style clamps to lock it to the rail (read- they would not stick out). What I received was as set of sights that was 100% DIFFERENT than the pic when I ordered and 100% DIFFERENT than the description. Once I received the sights, then the pic changed on the web site to the set they actually are AND the price even went up for a set of air soft sights when I ordered AR-15 sights. The sights you will receive will be for air soft, there is NOT a lock for the sights to lock them down..., OR, to lock the sights in place once you flip them up. If going through woods, bush, etc,and flip the sights up, they may stay in place (or just fall down). If you lowered the sights to use an optic, they may flip up just by snagging on high grass, weeds, small branch or anything. Imagine, you NEED your sights and can not depend on them to be up or to be down. TOTAL GARBAGE (did get refund)

Great sights for price!
I went through so many sights on my rifle and many optics kept having to return and exchange because I didn't want to wait for online shopping. Went ahead and ordered these they are great. Will only work if you have a gas block pictanny rail that is lower than the rear sight rail. These are perfercy for now on my dpms oracle until I get a quad rail. The sights were fairly accurate with absolutely no adjustment. My one complaint is that they don't lock in place how many other flip up sights do when up or down; however they are pretty sturdy and shouldn't move. I also noticed they will loosen up after a bit of shooting and I found myself having to tighten them. But overall for the price the quality is fantastic.

GOOD STUFF
"CAUTION" - I ORDERED TWO SETS AND THE ONES I RECEIVED ARE OF EQUAL HEIGHT THEREFORE THE FRONT SIGHT WILL NOT WORK ON THE LOWER HEIGHT GAS BLOCK ON DPMS ORACLE MODELS; WHICH I HAVE SEVERAL OF. - LUCKILY ALL MY RIFLES HAVE QUAD-RAILS INSTALLED SO THE SIGHTS WILL WORK FINE. - THE SIGHTS SEEM TO BE OF REASONABLE QUALITY AND FUNCTION WELL (A FEW DROPS OF GOOD QUALITY GUN OIL IS A PLUS). - THE SIGHTS I RECEIVED HAVE ALLEN MOUNTING SCREWS AS OPPOSED TO THE SLOTTED THUMB SCREWS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES AND THE 5/32" ALLEN WRENCH REQUIRED WAS NOT INCLUDED WITH EITHER SET; HENCE THE 4 STAR RATING . - AS "BACK-UP-SIGHTS" I THINK THEY ARE VERY ADEQUATE AND THE PRICE IS SUPER.

Nice sight set.
Front Sight clamps to the gas block on my dpms oracle. Rear sight fit well also. Easy to adjust. Does the job at a good price.

A gimmick, but not a good backup
PROS: If you want a dirt cheap site that can 'act' like a backup site, these will workCONS: These are poorly designed and more poorly implemented. The rear site would not lay down for me at all. When I finally did get it to lay, the 'flip' part of the site prevented my scope from backing up enough for proper eye relief. I could have gotten high rise mounts, but with high rise mounts why would I not just have normal sights?Overall, was just very disappointed. And - if I remember correctly - these were labeled as Magpul sites. The store I bought them from was DYZ, so they can respond if there is a problem with the labeling.I'll be returning these very shortly.

Read before you buy.
These are great sights for the price. However, the rear sight is quite stiff but will probably loosen up with use. It takes some effort to change between sight apertures. Additionally, the front sight is designed to be mounted on a gas block, thus it is taller than the standard sight. So if you're planning to put this on an Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 (like I did) look elsewhere for a front sight.Overall, good quality.

i just zeroed in my AR15 this weekend and I will say these sights are fantastic. Once zeroed in
Was nervous about buying a $25 sight, since most on the market are $100 + and that is just for the rear sight. HOWEVER, i just zeroed in my AR15 this weekend and I will say these sights are fantastic. Once zeroed in, I was able to shoot a nice grouping of 20 rounds at 50 yards, shooting rapid fire.I put these on a DMPS Oracle. I had searched high and low for good iron sights that would fit an off set back rail to front rail. These sights did the job and with more than a 75% off other sights on the market.Only complaint is that i had to tighten the rear sight a few times, probably because of the rattling that shooting created.Personally i thought they looked pretty slick on the Oracle too. See pictures.

Save your self the trouble!!!!
Ok, this is the third set of sights that I have purchased on the budget end of the money scale. While the product seems of quality construction I was not able to fold the sights down and have them securely lock in place. The first time I fired my rifle the sights flipped up and continued to do so. I disassembled them and found that the locking groove was not large enough to allow the sight to lock at a 90 degree so after some help from my dremel tool the problem was fixed. The front sight also had issues mounting to the rail on my gas block, but no issue on the flat top rail.

Look pretty nice!
Initially for the money they look pretty nice. They deploy nicely when the button is pushed, fold down smoothly and lock into place for what it's worth I haven't installed or used them yet I'm looking forward to it.Okay I took the rifle out and dropped a few rounds my rifle has a lower gas block rail than receiver rail these sites are made for a gun with level rails it caused me to shoot way high which was the opposite of a review I had read when I purchased so I guess you get whatever they feel like sending you that day good luck other than that they are a nice solid pair of sights
