It's as fast as USB 3.0 and it's excellent!People are saying it slow but its not. This was an amazing product from the description and the product has lived up to it. It is slick and fits in snugly into my laptop sleeve without adding much of a bump. I use a Mac and a bootcamped Windows OS on an external SSD and thanks to this, I still have 4 high speed ports available when I am working on Windows. The USB connector is short, naturally, to fit into the case. This means that the wire will not be damaged during storage; but also it means that there is going to be a concentration of USB ports on just one side of the laptop and if you are used to keep your laptop on your lap while lying down on bed, you might notice a tiny weight on that side depending on the devices attached as the hub hangs of that port. If you are going to use it in this manner, I would suggest not attaching heavy devices that themselves would hang unless they have long cables and can rest on the floor or someplace not adding weight on the port the hub is connected to. Ideally use it in an environment where you laptop is resting on a desk of some sort so that the hub doesn't hang and potentially wear your laptop's port down.

This is good if you do not want a long cable hanging out from the PC. The short connect works well if you carry around your laptop. The USB slots are positioned on two sides which is also neat. The build quality is ok, not that great else would have given 5 stars. I was contemplating buying this or another unit with a longer cable but went with this one as short and handy connect.

I have been using this product for 15 days now and I can say for sure that this is absolutely great product.It doesn't need external power for power hungry devices like USB Hard Disks. I have used it with WD My Passport Ultra 1 TB Hard Disk & Seagate Expansion 2 TB powered Hard Disk. It works absolutely fine. Pendrives, bluetooth adaptor, etc also work fine.Pros:1. Doesn't need external power.2. Plug and play.3. Very sleek & sexy design.4. Portable.5. The cable adjusts inside the body. So, you don't have to worry about damaging the6. USB 3.0 SpeedsCons:1. Small cable. (It worked for me because I didn't need long cable).So, I didn't find any cons. I really loved this product.

Its cool product and very compact to carry it with your laptop. Nice design and look good compared to other long USB hubs

Good hub with all 4 usb 3.0 ports which helps in fast transfer of files easy to carry though the length of cable is a finger long which makes it to be near the device port you wanna expand and it's a little bit priced compared to other normal companies but lesser than belkin & Quantum zero

This is a useful hub to have as laptops have few ports these days. 4 ports are handy, price is excellent, shipping and delivery were speedy.

It was a great purchase. Space saving and convenient. I could maybe use a tiny little bit longer cable, but still I found it super helpful.

Small but powerful. There are many brands out there so I have chosen a very recognized brand. This device is small, portable and works perfectly. I use it on my laptop and even when I have attached my 2.4GHz trackball and keyboard, I do not experience any issues with the connection! Has one small LED to indicate if the port is active. I used on a laptop with Win 10 Pro and is really plug and play, no drivers need to be installed. I aso attached my printer and an external HDD: excellent performance and this hub was transparent to my computer! Keep in mind the cable is not very long, I have added a penny for reference. Anyways, gets the job done. Please give a chance to this little great product.
