We have been reading the books and my daughter had been pretending with plastic sticks and toys to have a wand. I surprised her with this purchase, and she loves it! It is well made, and she plays pretend with it all day long. We couldn't find one locally even close to this price. It has no batteries and no gimmicky features, which is a PLUS! The stand for it is nice and it really is a cute and well made wand great for pretend play.

These are much better than the cheap props you get from the Halloween store. They’re substantial (feel weighty) and perfectly sized. They are definitely more replica than toy. I ended up buying two more! They’ve stood up to months of play, definitely durable.
