Very useful if you have Euro plugs and need an extra UK socket
The dual plug adapter is fitted with a genuine 13A fuse, it is always advisable to check this considering the number of fake fuses fitted to some equipment arriving in the UK.The dual UK plug adapter supports up to two EU 2-pin plugs or 2 US 2-pin plugs (beware of voltage differences here though) or a mixture of the two.A Schuko 2-pin plug fits quite well, it is easy to insert or remove, as do American 2 pin flat bladed plugs. A standard 2-pin EU plug requires some force to get it in or out though. It is possible to plug in a 2-pin UK Shaver plug, but that requires even more force and the outer metal conductor on the pins, tends to catch on the shutters when you try and remove it.There are 3 USB type A sockets on the top of the adapter that share 2.4A at 5V between them, although any one of the sockets is capable of delivering that current if used on its own. I did manage to draw 2.4A when charging 2 devices, the voltage tended to drop if I tried to draw more current, which indicates that 2.4A is the maximum current available no matter how many charging sockets are in use.The adapter will slightly obscure the power switch where that switch is at the top of the socket, but it is fine if the switch is on the right of the socket. The adapter is very useful if you have double insulated EU equipment to power (important if there is no earth pin), since you don't need to buy an adapter, plus not only do you gain an extra UK socket, you also get a 5V 12W 3-port USB charger, admittedly not the fastest, but still okay.It would have been nice if one of the adapter 2-pack had the extra socket on the left hand side of the plug and the other one had it on the right hand side.

Compact and convenient with good safety features
This is a handy, compact plug adapter, which allows for seven connections simultaneously: 2 x 3 pin UK outlet, 2 x 2 pin outlet, 3 USB ports. It is fitted with a 13 amp fuse and surge protector, so there should be no concerns about overloading it.I find this especially useful in the bedroom for charging my devices overnight and plugging in my bedside lamp and hairdryer. I can’t see me ever using the 2-pin outlets, as they are positioned underneath, making access awkward, and in any case would only be useful for an electric shaver or toothbrush.I also find the off-center positioning of the 3-pin wall connection a bit odd. Many of my power outlets are located adjacent to a door frame, which gets in the way if located to the left of the plug adapter. On the whole though, a functional and convenient adapter, and good value for money as a set of two.

Useful adaptor from 3 pin to 2 pin and USB A, but make sure you have space to left of wall socket
There are 2 units in the box. Each comprises a 3-pin male plug on the right hand underside, leading to 2 x 3 pin sockets above, one directly so and the other off to the left. They work well, but ensure you have space to the left; if you plug it into the RH socket of a 2 socket wall terminal, this unit will cover the LH wall socket. On the top of the unit are 3 x USB A sockets rated at 5 volts at 2.4 amps, which the box advises is single and total USB total output. On the other side are 2 x 2 pin sockets for shavers or electric toothbrush charging, and they work well. The unit is solidly built, and I rate 5 stars.

Great gadget
As an added bonus this is a pack of two of these adaptors. One thing to note is they aren’t travel adaptors but are really for using with UK sockets spot add you extra charging capacity. I have plugged them in and all areas work perfectly as they should. In some ways I’d feel a little concerned about overloading a socket, but as the bag containing each adaptor states, they are 13A fused and also have surge protection. This means that from one single socket you will be able to plugs in two electrical plugs, say a TV and a kettle (just as examples), be able to use the shaving sockets on the underside to use your electric shaver and charge your toothbrush, all at the same time, whilst charging your USB port devices, like iPads, iPhones, etc etc. Basically you can use a total of EIGHT electrical items in just one socket….!Now it sounds a little unfair of me to give this four stars instead of five, but….. here’s my reasoning…. if you had a socket tight to a corner, then you need to hope it’s not a left hand corner as the plug sticks out to the left. In some ways a bit of a trick has been missed here. As there are two in the box, why not have one on the left and one on the right? OR even more ingenious, why not have a button you could press to enable you to actually rotate the adaptor, which would then suit wherever you want to use it. This is just an observation of mine and it doesn’t mean it’s not a great idea, as it really is. If you’re short on socket space then this is right up your street.

Declutter your workspace
This adapter has been a lifesaver in my cluttered home office. I love having multiple plug sockets and USB ports in one compact unit. It feels sturdy and well-made. The dual 2-pin sockets at the bottom are a clever addition, perfect for appliances with larger plugs. It's definitely decluttered my workspace and made charging multiple devices much easier.

Just brilliant! Or so I thought :(
My initial reaction was:Finally, a multi use adapter that means no need to keep swapping around things that need charging. And no need for those nuisance 2 pin plug adapters to take up precious 3pin plug sockets!Toothbrushes, razors, usb driven devices and the usual three pin plugs can all be plugged into this extension socket. However, THIS IS NOT THE CASE. What I thought were 2 pin sockets that would take UK toothbrush, shaver plugs etc. do not work for this purpose.I also tried a two pin EU plug that's on one of my kitchen appliances, but that doesn't fit either. So I'm actually not sure what use they are at all.It does not have any USB-C sockets either, so for any devices that only have USB-C cables a USB C to USB A converter is required. Also, as this is a 2 pack, I had hoped that one of the adapters might have been the other way around to use with wall sockets that can't accommodate a 'right to left' extension for some reason. (i.e. plugs in at the left and extends to the right).

Great
Works amazingly as it should. No issues at all. Ports seem strong and design is good. Overall 10/10
