This insulating tape seems to work well. I applied it just a few days ago so time will tell how long it lasts. It is easy to apply. The adhesive stayed put. I ended up taping over it with UV resistant line tape (designed for said purpose) to add a little more longevity to it. I don’t know if that was necessary but I always like to be cautious.I wish I would’ve thought to take a picture prior to applying the UV line tape so you could see what it looks like, but attached is a picture of the final product (UV line tape over this insulating tape). You can see what this tape looks like at the spot where it meets the air conditioner.

This is some good, high quality insulation tape. Worked great on the line set going to to my AC condenser.

I spent a considerable amount of time combing through reviews, trying to find the best outdoor insulation tape for my split top heating and cooling units that are based outside my home. As I found in the other reviews, this tape is quite sticky so it does a great job in Sticking to itself.One tip I have is that you can buy a wider tape and split it in half to extend it. Additionally, for areas that were difficult to get good adhesion (tight angles, narrow gaps) I used zip ties to keep it together. Those work really well in concert With this tape. I would strongly recommend this version. I haven’t used the more popular namebrand, but this works well and is competitively priced.

Great for rewrapping tubing on air conditioner outside.

Agree with other reviewers who stated this doesn’t adhere well. I carefully cleaned the outdoor AC pipe. The wrapping was a bit cumbersome as there were two twists in the pipe, but I just overlapped and it worked. About three weeks later there are portions that have lost adhesion. Unsure how long this will last.

Wrap was used to wrap a condenser pipe and even thought the pipe was wet from condensation it took to adhering pretty good!
