I've been wearing Carhart work shorts for years. The older ones were heavy denim and wear like iron. These are a lighter blend and stretchy. They are more comfortable and cooler in hot weather and wear great. Fit is true to the size chart.

Love these shorts for work in a cabinet shop. They fit perfect and the pockets are great. Color is just as pictured.

First off I like these shorts but have to take a star off for their waist sizes. I wear a 36 (at least that what my current jeans say I am). I ordered the pants in winter for working around the yard in size 36. Too tight. Had to order 38 and they fit. Figured I am going up a size. Weather warmer so ordered these shorts in 38. Way too big. Ordered the hickory in 36. Fits great. So I order the tan and navy. Tan fits great. Navy is like they were a 34. Sent them back and got a 2nd pair of hickory 36. Fits great. Pants I have to wear a 38, shorts in 36 and then it's depends on the color? I dont get it. Once I got the waist sizes correct, I wear these all the time and like them.

I actually bought my first pair in a Home Depot Store. I loved them so much I went back to buy more but they didn’t have any more in my waist size, 32””. These shorts are durable enough for work but yet still comfortable and fashionable enough for every day casual wear. I love the pockets on the side legs because they hold my cell phone securely and the pocket is deep enough that I never have to worry about my phone slipping out. I actually like the hammer loop on the left leg also for various purposes. Overall a great short and a true fit as well.

Buy these every year for my brother. 2 or 3 pair. He loves them. He works hard in construction and they hold up.
