Works perfectly despite reviews
This hub/switch is perfect for desktop + laptop setup. It ticks all the checks:- Power Delivery and USB-C video for the laptop- HDMI and USB for the desktop- Slick magnetic remote- Plenty USB ports- Not passive (laptop doesn't have to be on to wake it up)I did have a couple problems, but fixed all of them and none was a problem with this hub/switch:- Slow switching between PC and laptop was due to laptop's sleep mode settings. Disabling sleep on closed lid made the switching super quick and reliable.- Intermittent connection (very visible in `dmesg`) was caused by a faulty USB-C cable. Replacing it with a reasonably inexpensive new one from Cable Matters fixed the issue.- Mouse failing to reconnect after switch was due to Logitech memory settings - switching it to "chip mode" fixed the issue.

A little slow on the switching and I wish the cables were a little longer.
Overall, I have a laptop and a desktop. Setup was easy and it does the job well. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because the switching between the two machines takes like two seconds. Overall, it's a great little device.

Doesn't Seem To Work at 60Hz on Mac
I bought this to hook up my work M3 MacBookPro and my personal gaming PC to my monitor. Based on the specs, this would seem to solve my problem. On plugging it in, the Windows side of things works fine, but on the Mac I just get a black screen. The laptop recognized the monitor was connected, just no picture. I eventually traced it down to the refresh rate. On the MBP, it will only work if I manually select 30Hz, Windows does 60Hz which is what the KVM specification is for.Now the ugly part: Anker seems to not want to admit that this product exists. I can't find any info on their website about it, their AI support chatbot had no clue what I was talking about, and even the real person that I did eventually get connected to couldn't seem to find any info on the product. I was promised that they would reach out to the product team and send me an email response within the next business day, so I'll update this review if I hear back. Otherwise this will be getting returned.

Not very reliable
Works ok most of the tme, but periodically loses the keyboard connection with the PC, forcing me to toggle to the laptop and back again. Swiching is kind of slow, and it takes forever (and usually a couple keytaps) to get the screen to display after switching to the latop.

Almost perfect except for power delivery issue
This KVM is exactly what I needed to switch between gaming on a desktop and working on a MacBook Pro. The one issue is that the USB-C PD to the laptop will downgrade from 85W to 5W if you switch to the second PC. When you switch back to the laptop, it will not go back to 85W charging unless you disconnect all of the cables from the KVM to force it to power off. I confirmed this using the macOS System Information that displays the wattage given to the laptop and my Anker Prime Charger that shows the wattage delivered to the KVM.My setup:- A Windows desktop connected using the provided USB-C cable without using the HDMI input port.- An M3 MacBook Pro connected using the provided USB-C cable.- An Anker Prime 250W charger connected to the USB-C PD input with an 100W USB-C cable.- A 2K 165Hz monitor connected to the HDMI out port.Pros:- The USB switching works perfectly to share a USB keyboard and wireless mouse.- The single cable setup for charging, display, and peripherals for my MacBook Pro is very convenient.- I am able to output 2K 120Hz from my MacBook Pro using the one USB-C cable.- The KVM can be toggled on the box itself or via an included button connected over a cable.- The included button is magnetic so It can be mounted somewhere on your desk.Cons:- Display output is limited by the HDMI ports that only support up to 4k 60Hz.- Issues with charging downgrading from 85W to 5W.- Maximum of 5Gbps on the USB ports so you may see slow speeds for connected devices.

(edit) USB switch works, HDMI to USB-C switch works after adjustment
Updated after Anker provided a replacement. The switch between HDMI and USB works fine. There's a slight delay on the HDMI switch, but it is around 4 seconds.Initially, I had a problem where the HDMI switching would not work. I am reasonably certain that this has something to do with which USB-C port I use on my laptop. One port works reliably, the other works only sometimes. Anker also replaced the model and the USB-C cable before I made this discovery, so just double check which ports you use if you run into this error.

a bit slow switching devices
Works great, but only one HDMI input. If you don't have USB-C video output on one of your devices it will not be compatible. Switching devices is a bit slow, even though there is a manual switch.

Works great with a Macbook Pro and a Windows PC
I bought another swith before this one but it didnt work well with my macbook. I returned it and got this one instead. It works perfectly switching between a macbook pro and a windows PC, I would 100% recommend it.
