STEEL PLATES not cast thats a good thing
I had a harbor freight 6 ton press and recently aquired a 20 ton press and used a press plate from the 6 ton. The 6 ton plate broke under pressure, it was cast iron and brittle. This set of new 20 ton plates are heavy and have the lazer cut marks and are powder coated. These plates are quality steel plates and so much stronger than cast plates. I am very pleased with the quality. Highly recommend.

Very nice set of plates for a hydraulic press!
I haven't been able to actually use these on a job yet, but these are very heavy duty plates. I cannot see these breaking on anything that I am going to use them on. They came in in perfect condition and the perfect size for my 50 ton hydraulic press. They should work perfect with my press!

Hydraulic press plates
Nice set sized as original, well made should be indestructable, however original Harbor freight plates are also plasma cut steel now and only oldest are the dangerous breakable ones. I feel safe using either set now, did add roll pins to keep plates from sliding off

Not As Advertised, Unusable for My Application
Not as Advertised, Very Poor and Rough Cuts. Powder Coating is Poor Adhesion and Chipped All Over. Center Hole Is Not 1.5" it's Barely 1.4" So it Won't Fit Over My Axle to Press the Bearings. I Would Not Order Again or Recommend.
