We finally had to replace our old umbrella and decided to try this one. That was probably 6 or more months ago. It has worked fine, will close and open easily and the material seems to be durable. There is nothing I can find fault with. I think this is a very good patio/deck umbrella.

I bought this patio umbrella in June and it’s already broken after only a handful of uses. At first, it opened fine, but the very first time I tried to close it, the mechanism jammed and now it won’t shut all the way. It’s basically stuck and completely useless. For the price, I expected it to at least last through one summer, but it didn’t even make it a few weeks. Cheaply made, poor quality, and a total waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and look for a better option—this one is junk.
