I have purchased this book multiple times (4 times so far I think) because I love it so much that I often give it away as a gift. It is so appropriate for any occasion and packs quite a bit of Hawaiian culture and language in with the lunar knowledge. I love it!!!

Beautiful book!

I was fascinated to find this book, being a keiki o ka 'āina. Also, always having loved the mahina, especially the crescent mahina. Then I read that Hilo, is a crescent mahina. Hilo - is where I grew up! So many profound connections to my love of my home, the extraordinary love I've always had for the crescent moon. This book put it all together for me, brought me home I guess one might say. I just know I was meant to find this jewel. At the very back you will read that this book was made - just for you! It is dated the day you order it. To me, that is special. Truly captures the Hawai'i culture, my love of my culture, spirituality and connections, to the moon. To me, when you find something that explains, what you couldn't quite put your pulse on, why you felt certain ways. You've always had an idea. This book brought it together for me.
