Enlightening This is information that explains a lot of things you don’t read in the original Bible…. Barely touched . Things that reveal the main reason why the flood took place .. once your read this you understand the necessity for the flood You can’t question Gods reason…. Review: Important information for anyone who wonders about why God sent the flood. - The evil period, just before the flood, is hard to understand or know. Biblically, the word of God is very quick and vague about the times when Noah lived. In fact, Genesis 5 takes us from Adam and Eve quickly through thousands of years up to Noah. This book has helped fill in some gaps for me as a Christian. What did it mean in Genesis 6 - "the sons of God saw the daughters of men?" It's fascinating to contemplate, and I'm grateful for the read. I especially like the list of questions at the end, which brings the book together.

enjoyed
There were some areas that were hard to follow but overall the existences of giants were real and explained where they came from

Nicely Written
Loved the book and learned a lot. As an author myself, I agree with others that it could have used an editor, but in actuality, the errors (mostly lack of punctuation marks) were not significant. It was very well written. The author had a clear voice throughout the book, which is very important, and meticulously guides us on this journey. I'm giving it 4 stars, as opposed to 5, because an audiobook was not included.

Different than others
This one was different that the others because the DSS that were recovered left a lot of holes and room for speculation. I still love learning, luckily I read the book of Enoch first and filled in a lot of the holes like a companion book

Detailed and exhaustive, but somewhat repetitive...
While this is a very detailed and exhaustive exploration of the ancient texts, I found much of the author's arguments and explanations to be repetitive and cyclical. This led to a desire to quick-read and seek points of interest to stay engaged with his offering. Again, very very detailed and measured with a tremendous amount of data and research, but it gets old reading how much these texts "offer valuable insights into the cultures of the times." Quite frankly, that part is to be left to the reader...not an absolute from the author.

Very Interesting!
From the moment I glimpsed the title and description, I was captivated by the promise of uncovering forgotten narratives hidden within the Dead Sea Scrolls. What I appreciated most about the book was its comprehensive approach to exploring the origins, significance, and theological implications of these ancient texts. The detailed analysis of the Aramaic version and its connection to the Book of Enoch provided invaluable insights into the cultural and historical context of these stories.

Maybe it's good for some but I scanned it and threw it out. Waste of time to read.
