If you are not used to it, then it might feel too smooth. --Habit and adjustment-- If you are used to fountain pens or ball pens, then you will spend some time adjusting to this one, but the effort will be totally worth it. --Remember the paper-- If you use thin, low quality paper, then the ink will show on the opposite page, so please use it with proper, high quality, thick paper. Only then, this pen will be worth using. --Refill-- Do not worry about refilling as you can just buy Parker Navigator Roller Ball pen refill and use that in this pen. This refill is very common and you can buy it enough places. --Body-- The body of the pen is of matte finish. The pen feels very elegant and graceful. It looks great when you hold this pen. The body is full metal with matte finish and is soothing to touch. The pen looks great when kept on desk. Body is 5/5. --Heaviness-- Of course the pen is heavier than a use-and-throw Ball pen, but this pen is not as heavy as it looks. So, you do not have to abandon comfort when writing. --Ink spread-- The ink does not spread much as you might fear. The ink on paper is very sharp. I would give 5/5. --Practicality-- Finally, how good is this pen for practical, regular use? Many might think that this is an expensive pen for gifting and only decorative, but nothing could be further from truth. I have bought this pen for myself and I use it regularly for close to an hour. This is not only elegant and lends you status, but it is also extremely practical for regular use. So, if you can afford the ink, feel free to use it regularly. --Longiviety-- I have been using it only for a month. So I don't know how long will it last. I can only hope that this pen will last long. The body is hard and sturdy and fully made of metal.

i today purchased a black roll on Parker pen, i was facing some problem in this pen, so requested replacement/refund, but since i was not willing to replace with same pen but another pen, i canceled "replacement request by mistake. Now I'm not finding any "call me", 'chat an agent' option, i want to talk Amazon to request for exchange with another pen/refund. The pen i received is complicated to me to fix n use. Worst product quality is not upto standard.

Refill that came with the pen is of 0.7 mm whereas in product description it is written as 0.5 mm. The writing comes a bit thicker rather than fine....overall good
