Very Good Tripod, Quality and Value
This review is for the Joilcan Camera 81-Inch Heavy Duty Aluminum Tripod. I originally purchased the Joilcan 74-inch Tripod. However, I use my tripods with large Binoculars and found the smaller 74 inch product to be less stable for my application. The 81-Inch Heavy Duty Aluminum Tripod is constructed from high quality aluminum, and is very stable with a strong center pole and foldable legs. The tripod can be configured in several different heights from approx. 19 inches to the noted 81 inches. Yet, it folds up into a small compact 16 inches for transport and storage. For its size and construction, the tripod doesn't weigh a lot (5.33 lbs.) and the nylon carrying case with a shoulder strap helps distribute the weight evenly when walking around. The tripod comes with two mounting plates, both with 1/4-20 screw attachments that will accommodate most binoculars, cameras and lighting equipment. If you are a photographer, the various configurations will allow you to work in pretty much any environment, indoors or out, making it a very functional product and a great value at under 70 dollars. The tripod also comes with rubber tips at the end of each leg that remove easily to expose spiked tips if you'll be working in grass or dirt. If all you need at the moment is a monopole... just unscrew the leg, attach the mounting head and you're good to go. I can recommend the Joilcan 81 inch Tripod not only for the price and quality of this product, but its versatility as well.

Great find. Great buy.
This is my first tripod purchased for my Nikon DSLR. After reading tons of reviews and recommendations, I settled on the Joilcan 80. I had owned a video tripod with a pan head; but it seemed the best solution for my Nikon was a ball head. And I was happy to have the taller profile.Having just opened it and briefly put it through its paces, it has not disappointed. It's well-made, solid and seems to be tough enough for me as my skills progress (at least I hope my skills progress!). I am impressed by the appearance, by the stability, by the screw-type leg extensions, by the retractable points on the feet, by the versatility of the ball head and, not the least of the features, the relatively compact size of the piece in its nice case.I am expecting years of use from this (surely almost) professional quality tripod. Thanks.

Worth It
Best tripod I’ve ever owned. Extremely functional & lightweight, but still very sturdy. This will last me a long time. I almost spent a lot of money on another one, but I took a chance and I’ve been using it every weekend.

Almost a 5 star purchase
great purchase!, wish the tightening nut for the clamp that secures the camera to the top of tripod / mono-pod was a wing nut. other than that this is a 5 star purchase. quality materials, quality build. Yes make the purchase especially in this price range.

Inverted Tripod legs!
The design is so good. The inverted leg design makes it small and TALL. The balance is great and the hook on the bottom for stability is genius.Multiple ways to attach and adjust the camera or video. The mono pod feature is really handy too.Light weight but sturdy. This is the BEST OF ALL THE TRIPODS I have owned, and I have owned dozens over the years.

Nice tripod good price!
I am a content creator on YouTube and absolutely love this tripod for my studio and outdoors. The ball head and sturdy mount is worth the money because it allows me to turn my Canon M-50 vertical with a simple twist of a knob. The fact I can pull the other legs off and turn it into a mono pod is awesome. There is also a spring hook under the center to hang weights from in windy weather but as I found out it works great to mount your tripod to the ceiling. I have a mounting rail on my ceiling and was able to hook the hook right into it and extend the legs to the ceiling and now my camera is off the ground and hanging from the ceiling. I would recommend this tripod.

If you like the Balls.
Honestly, I thought the ball joint would be easier to control, but infact, it was just annoying to handle. The camera kept falling over, and i just didnt feel confident with my equipment mounted. nice concept, but not my flavor.

Sturdy, high quality tripod
This tripod is amazing, considering it is less than $100. The tripod is exceptionally sturdy and all moving parts are easily manipulated and lock tightly. There is an integrated level, which is handy. I used this tripod for astrophotography using a DSLR. Connecting the camera is straightforward. Positioning the camera was easy and stable. The only drawback for astrophotography is the inability to point up. I think it is limited to less than 70 degrees. This limitation can partially be overcome by extending the forward leg a bit, but it would have been nice to adjust the ball joint for higher aiming of the camera. However, this tripod is an outstanding value in all other respects.
