What a sham - waste of money. The fan worked for just over the return period (2 weeks) and went dead after that. Inexplicable for a new purchase. Besides there seems to be no forum to ask for a replacement as the return window has lapsed. How do i get a replacement??

You could pay more for an ordinary rotary fan with less air throughput/cooking. This works three ways: fan only, cooling (add water or also ice/provided coolers when frozen), humidifier. Effective on swing placed in front of the sofa or to cool a small double bedroom. Even the lowest setting is reasonably powerful, therefore not exactly silent for TV watching or sleeping (I'd deduct half a star). Cooling mode only really makes a difference with ice or freezing the coolers provided. If you're prepared to spend more on an alternative evaporating cooler than consider a budget proper air conditioner.

This air cooler is OK, had better. On the maximum speed on the fan mode, you cannot feel the cool air if more than 5ft away... Also the water tank is very small, and it is not removable for any cleaning. If you set to cooler mode (Use freezer blocks) the tank is empty is empty in a matter of just a few hours and the tank is not very easy to refill.

Very easy to use. The cooling really does depend on the temperature in f the water you use. But using the ice packs provided plus some ice cubes makes a real difference to the room you use it in. Very very effective in a small room, but good for medium sized ones too. I agree with other reviewers in that it is noisy. But both my husband and I have managed to sleep through it. I wouldn’t say it’s noisier than other fans/coolers. Very good value for money.

If you have a half decent fan ,then don't bother wasting your money . Works fine but it's worse than my 20 quid fan Ive used for 3 years . I thought I would give it a go and ignore the other reviews saying keep your money . How wrong was I. Keep your money or buy mine of me for half what I payed hahaha. 60 quid wasted

Leaking water while in use
