Carr’s Table Water Biscuits are the cracker equivalent of a butler named Geoffrey—elegant, understated, and always on hand to support your cheese without stealing the spotlight. Let’s be honest: on their own, they taste like crunchy air. But that’s the point. These are the unsung heroes of the cheeseboard—the ones who know their job is to hold the Stilton, not outshine it. They’re thin, crisp, and have just enough snap to let you feel fancy, even when you’re eating cheddar in your pyjamas at 10pm. Pop a slice of brie on one, and suddenly you’re not in your kitchen—you’re at a wine and cheese soirée in the Cotswolds. With jazz. I’ve even crumbled a few into soup for that “posh crouton” effect. And yes, I’ve balanced one on my mullet like a crown. No regrets. They don’t go stale quickly, they don’t break under pressure (unlike me in IKEA), and they make you feel like you’ve got your life together.

The best plain biscuits ever
These are just my favourite all time biscuits to eat with a variety of savoury toppings and I even like to snack on them on their own Why? The texture is perfect , crisp and then chew down to a satisfying rough dough . The wheat has great flavour even on its own and will enhance good cheese. They are also just the right size , the large table water are just too big and make a mess for no good reason. Only complaint on these is they are quite expensive for that they are just flour water and salt but then they are the best

Like a crispy Jacobs cracker
These are smaller and crisper that the usual square Jacobs cracker. They work well with cheese, butter and even peanut butter. They are rather dry though, not quite as dry as the Jacobs. If you fancy a change. Give these a go.
