Excellent travel bag. Roomy, well organized, and very comfortable to carry, especially with the backpack straps. The zips and openings are very wide, so everything inside is clearly visible and easy to reach - no need to unpack the whole bag to find something. It looks stylish, feels durable and high quality, and despite being slightly over some budget airline size limits, I've had no problems using it as a cabin bag. Perfect for light travelers.

Great for one bag air travel. I bought this bag for a 3 day work trip to Tampa where I had short connections on both ends. Overhead compartment space is at a premium lately so I wanted one bag that could fit under the seat with all my things. It fit perfect, with space to shove my small crossbody purse next to it on both American and Southwest flights. I am short so leg room wasn’t an issue for me. The laptop area held my work HP fine, the end compartments were great for chargers and toiletry bag. Water bottle pocket was a definite plus. I used packing cubes for my clothes so when I got to the bite I just pulled those out and used it as my backpack for the office. The color and style is very neutral, and several people commented on it. Backpack straps were comfortable, and didn’t realize until the last day that you could cross over one strap to make it a duffel shoulder bag. I may never go back to my rolling suitcase again.

Bought this for triathlon races. It’s the perfect size to fit my wet suit, swim stuff, cycling gear, running gear and extras. It initially looked small but once you open it up, it’s great. I love the back pack straps. They can also be stowed away for when not in use. Great quality. You can’t go wrong with The North Face.

I cant say anough good things about these bags. I think i may never use another backpack as long as these are available. I accidentally order a size smaller than I intended, but the size actually works out great. Its still pretty larger. The amount of different pockets is sick, tbh. I use most of them, all for different stuff. If you want a backpack to carry a lot of stuff, this really is a move.

I would give 5 stars, but there was one problem. One of the backpack strap buckles was detached from the bag when I opened it. Not ripped, like the strap wasn't even sewn down with the buckle. Kinda of a bummer for quality control, because this bag is perfect otherwise. I can fit my boots and and attach my helmet to the side and it fits in the Air Canada overhead bin, so perfect for ski vacations. And it packs down so well I can put it and my boots and helmet back in my suitcase for the return trip. Plenty of space, strong material, great colors, nice water bottle pocket, like the duffel/backpack combo. I would have just returned it for a new one but I was cutting it close for a last minute trip so I just sewed the buckle back on. No biggie, I just shouldn't have to do that with a brand new bag. Hopefully this is just a random one-off, and I'm willing to update to 5 stars if North Face reaches out. It seems like a small error rather than a quality issue with the bag, the other buckle is rock solid. It's a great bag and easy to get a lot of use out of it.

This duffel is such a game changer! It offers a visual of everything in the bag, extra tucked away zipper pockets and even a coffee bottle holder. And backpack straps!! It is super sturdy and a travel must-have! A good value too!
