Easy to install correctly, albeit a wee bit time consuming. Never mind, think of all the time saved in years to come. Links seamlessly & virtually by itself, to Alexa and Google. Struggling to work out MATTER connection, but I don't really need it. I have two X 100 feet units , which each come in 6 smaller sections. I've also used one of the ( no light units) connection pieces to bridge around my outside chimney stack. I put this inside a length of clear plastic tubing to stop the wire rubbing against the roughcast. Currently have 9 x sections on one controller unit , & 3 on another at the rear of the house. I wired it in through the eaves , & have both control units and power switches in my garage, as I read online, that these are the only weakness weather wise. All the connections and light units are perfect. Powering it up for the first time in the dark, by Alexa voice command , was perfect. Loads of patterns to choose from on the brilliant GOVEE App. Highly recommended product !.

I purchased these to originally replace our old Christmas lights but these do so much more and can control by the App you can dime the lights down if needed, when on 100% these are bright installing took a bit longer than I expected as getting to the eves of the roof they look great and worth buying

Great product have purchased v1 and v2 v2 supposed to be brighter can not tell the difference ? The fittings and extra extensions much better ether way great product. Only one improvement would like to see is an individual light control instead of groups of 4 to give that more personalised app light experience.

These lights look really nice once installed, but present with multiple design flaws.Firstly, the box includes most of what you need for the installation, but the number cable holders included is insufficient to cover the whole length of the power cable. They said the lights can be stacked but our professional installers told us they have installed many and they don’t stay attached for long, unless they’re screwed to the roof. They also said the screws provided are too small and used their own ones. To be fair, when I purchase a product that is meant to stay on parts of the house that are not easily accessible, I expect the product to have all it needs to be used directly in the box.The second issue is the power adapter not being weatherproof. This is a product made for outdoor use so I’m unsure as why they designed it with an indoor power adapter that cannot be used outside.The third issue is that the power cable cannot be detached from the power adapter, meaning it’s almost impossible to fit them into an outdoor junction box as the plug won’t fit the holes. Again, I’m not sure as why they designed it this way.Finally, the app has a look and feel of some cheap products from China. From such a big company, I would expect an app with better design and functionality.Apart from this, the lights are great and the setup is very easy if you use Matter.
