Light weight jacket
Light weight jacket for fall weather or if you just don't like bulky coats. Collar is a bit high for me, but I have a small neck. Reminds me of my HH Seven J jacket, just a bit thicker. I do wish the arms was fleece lined as the body of the jacket. Other than that, I like it.

Excellent quality and functionality; thoughtful design; great looks
The sizing chart was helpful and accurate to find the correct size -- the jacket still allows to wear regular warm clothing underneath the jacket. The interior Polartec fleece is warm and super soft. Overall it is a lightweight jacket and very comfortable to wear.I am not sailing but I definitely love the waterproof and windproof features of this jacket as it is just ideal for everyday wear. The hood can be stored in the collar and makes it a nice thick collar. The front closes high up to the chin and definitely keeps weather and cold out.The design is cool, very urban and sleek.I definitely recommend this Helly-Hansen jacket, it has a thoughtful design regarding quality and functionality and reflects the known Helly-Hansen quality standard.

It should have said it’s just a light fall/spring jacket
To light of a jacket to go skiing with I would need to wear another coat plus to keep warm on the slopes

Runs SMALL
This looks very nice however I typically wear size L and I may need XL or XXL for this one too fit. Returning.

Why does it have to have HH all over the jacket
The HH all over the jacket is off-putting to me. The jacket itself is nice, good for 40 -50 degree weather. It has a nice fit and feel.

odd fit
The collar is especially high that may work for people with extra long neck. Sleeves are overly long. Chest fits well though. Overall fit seems odd

Pricey....but worth it.
I'll start with the price. It definitely carries a premium price but this is a well-known and respected brand. I will add that if this goes on sale, I would feel better about recommending it. It's really a nice coat, but there are similarly nice jackets out there for less.Now....the coat. This has most of the things you'd expect from a brand name coat....well made/well placed pockets, zipper pulls, nice shell, good stitching, etc. I like that it has a collar that stands up a few inches. I don't love wearing a hood and don't need to, in most cases, when the collar protects my neck. I will say, it would be nice to have an extra pocket or two (maybe on the sleeve or interior). Lastly, this is warm for a lightweight jacket. This is the perfect coat for skiing where you are active and don't need a really heavy coat. Overall, very pleased with the coat and can definitely recommend it....but would be a little more enthusiastic with my recommendation if this came down in price 30%-40%.
