I have been using this adapter for a couple of months now, I was sceptical at first as some of the reviews were negative, but I’m glad I tried for myself.First of all the connectivity is instant, after the initial setup which only takes a few minutes, as soon as I start the car the wireless CarPlay starts instantly. I don’t have to wait, by the time my seatbelt is on I’m listening to my music from where it left off.The functionality is exactly the same as if I were using my wired CarPlay. The sound quality is exactly the same as my wired connection, all of my steering wheel controls work exactly the same as they do with a wired connection, I just don’t need to plug plug my phone in to use it. Calls, maps, text messages, what’s app and Siri all work perfectly.The unit itself is very well made of aluminium and glass, it’s small and can be placed out of sight. I have connected mine through the wired CarPlay port in the glovebox, so the unit is completely hidden. Even if it was visible it’s unobtrusive and high quality and doesn’t look out of place.Included in the box is everything you need to set up your unit, including instructions, sticky pads and cleaning cloths. There are also video links via QR codes to guide you through setup.All in all I’m very happy with the product and it offers great value for money if wireless CarPlay is what you want. I wouldn’t go back to wired now as the aesthetic is very pleasing having no wires on show. That said you do need a wired CarPlay option to be able to use the unit.

I have used apple car play for years and quit often left my phone in the car when I get out. This no longer happens as it automatically connects every time I get in so no need to attach the phone by a wire. Works every time and I cannot notice any difference in the quality of the connection. Setup was easy and I would recommend this to anyone. Great value for money.

This product did not work, it appears there is little to no quality control. It was difficult to set up and had a very limited compatibility.Very poor for the money, I returned the item.

Really happy I brought this product. Had it for 1 month now, no problems, simple to use, just plugged it in to its port, connected it to my phone via wifi and Bluetooth and off it goes. So simple to set up. Saves having to plug my phone into the lead every time I get in and out of the car and no need to connect it digitally every time either, just finds you phone and connects to it every time you turn the ignition on. No audio lag noticed compared to plugging it in with cable either, works just as well. Great value, fits nicely inside my arm rest in my car. Seems well built and solid.

The quality of this is bang on. Works a treat. Only down side is my car has remote start and when using this it overrides the cars inbuilt WiFi and stops the remote start. Just a case of unplugging it every time

Works fine once connected, but repeatedly crashes my Audi MMI. Not worth wasting time, if you have an Audi. This product is going back to Amazon
