Sleepytime Extra Tea 20 Bag Bulk Pack x 6 Super Savings

Thanks to 23andme I am aware that I am genetically predisposed to be a poor sleeper. Life also let me know - I wake up talking, rarely get more than a few hours good sleep, and generally look and feel like a pile of **** every morning.I've tried herbal teas before, and to be honest all had little or no effect. So, at 10 one night I plonked 2 sleepytime bags in a mug of boiling water with a spoonful of honey and let it brew for the suggested 6 minutes.The taste is not like normal tea, but not excessively herbal either, it's certainly not unpleasant, it sort of grows on you.Anyway the tea was taken, and about half an hour later I started yawning, and thought I'd just rest my eyes for five minutes...yes you know where this is heading...7am, the next morning, I awoke feeling refreshed after having a proper nights sleep - the first in years.I've had it since and it's worked a treat; I even had several cups during the day during a stressful time, and it seemed fairly calming. I'm trying not to drink it every night as I don't want my system to 'get used to it' and it lose it's effect, but time will tell if it loses its potency.I recommend it highly-, a great product, and on Amazon, very reasonably priced too.

I hate tea generally - but was desperate to get some sleep. However, I discovered that I quite like the taste of this tea with some honey added. It does actually induce sleepiness. I have arthritic hips and knees - and suffer with poor sleep. I have tried many different sleep aids (hemp oil, cherry extract, etc.), but the one thing that really works (and quickly) is this tea. I certainly notice the difference when I have not drunk a cup. It firstly relaxes and calms you - so that you long for bed. Then it helps you sleep soundly. I am not saying that I do not wake up in the night (I certain;y do) but I manage to drop back off quickly again. I keep what is left of my big nighttime cup by my bedside - and sip it when I wake. Try it and see - it may work for you ... and now to bed.... zzz

I really like the taste, its much more pleasant than any other herbal tea I have tried before. I like plain flavours though, I'm a keen green tea drinker.I feel it helps by making you slightly drowsier, but you need to time it well, I think the effect disappears after a short window, so if you keep busy during that window you will miss out on the effect. Consume it just before committing to going to bed is my advice.Good value for money, but I'll deduct a star, for the sheer amount of packaging its arriving in. The teabags are wrapped in a thick paper (I assume to protect the herbs from drying out so thats fair enough), but then its also in the teabox, which are individually wrapped in plastic foil, and then 6 of them are put into a larger box. Then this box is put into a larger box and filled out with wrapping paper.I feel its a bit of overkill.

I have been a fan of Sleepytime tea for many years and decided to try the Sleepytime Extra. It has the same great taste as the original, I can't say that the 'extra' has made any difference to my sleep quality, but I have struggled for many years with poor sleep. However, I do find 'Sleepytime' the most pleasant of all herbal sleep infusions to drink and do feel more relaxed when I've drunk it.

I absolutely love this tea but can never seem to find it anywhere at a reasonable price. I bought the pack of 6 for £15.80 which was incredible value and the items arrived very promptly.I am a very restless sleeper and this tea does wonders in terms of relaxing me and getting me ready for bed.
