Our old thermometer would time out after a while because it didn't shut off automatically when you closed the probe. Not this one, it shuts off and saves the battery when you close the probe. It's going to be easy to replace the battery. Appears to be very accurate. Good product for the money.

Good product for the money. Easy to use and seems to be accurate. Our cooking is now more precise, and the backlight feature is a big plus also.

This one actually works as advertised. Temp is instant, battery life is great as it only goes on when you open the probe and turns odd promptly when you close it. Super easy to use , just stick whatever your measuring. Can't beat it for the price.

Works great and easy to use. The screen is a good size and easy viewing. My only problem is I keep loosening them, this is the third one I bought. I'm going to tie this one to the grill and buy anther to tie to the stove.

I really enjoy this thermometer, it's easy to use and quit accurate. The moment you pull the metal tip down it turns on and is ready to go, push it back and it shuts right down. It does what it claims and the price was great, I would highly recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It starts working as soon as you open it up and it shows temperature fast. One click and the numbers are lit up or off. I really like that it's stuck on my refrigerator by a magnet, always handy when I need it.
