My book Review:
You deserve to be rich by Rashad Bilal & Troy Millings
⭐ 5 Stars
I received my copy of You Deserve to Be Rich on January 13th, after ordering it some time ago. From the moment I started reading, I knew this book was something special. I’ve been following Rashad and Troy, along with Ian “The Master Investor”, for years, and their work continues to inspire and educate. The way they bring financial knowledge from different directions—through their podcasts, interviews, and platforms—reminds me of the Wu-Tang Clan, delivering powerful insights from every angle of the economic spectrum. This book is a must-read for anyone looking to shift their financial mindset and take control of their future. It’s well-organized, easy to understand, and practical. The breakdown of different investment types and strategies is incredibly valuable, but what stands out most is how the book tackles mindset transformation. Many people struggle financially not because they lack intelligence but because they’ve been conditioned to think a certain way about money due to their upbringing and exposure. You Deserve to Be Rich challenges those limiting beliefs and empowers readers to re-evaluate their financial perspectives. One of the book’s greatest strengths is its clarity and accessibility. It doesn’t talk over people’s heads or make wealth-building seem unattainable. Instead, it lays out a step-by-step approach to investing, wealth accumulation, and financial literacy in a way that anyone can grasp. For me, this book is not just another finance book—it’s a blueprint. Alongside my Bible, this will be my go-to reference for financial literacy.I’ve been following Earn Your Leisure for about five years now, and I can personally say that I’ve learned, invested, and earned because of the knowledge these brothers share. My financial goals include purchasing property in Ghana, and I’m actively restructuring my assets to make that happen. Having visited Ghana before, I know how valuable this investment will be, and books like You Deserve to Be Rich continue to guide me on my journey. On a side note, Rashad, I heard you had your part of the audiobook professionally recorded. While I haven’t listened to the audiobook yet, I personally enjoy hearing your voices when I read—I can imagine you and Troy speaking the words because I’ve listened to you for so long. That authenticity is powerful, and while I respect any decision you make, staying true to your real voices is a strength that sets you apart.Currently, I’m reading The Richest Man Who Ever Lived (King Solomon) and The Master Key System, both of which align with my commitment to financial and personal growth. Reading a book a month (sometimes two) has been transformative, and You Deserve to Be Rich stands out as one of the most impactful. I finished this book on March 14th, 2025, and I’ll be ready for the next one when it drops.I appreciate you, brothers, for your dedication to financial education, and I look forward to seeing you at future events. I attended Carnegie Hall recently, where Robert Smith and other powerful speakers shared their insights—it was an incredible experience.I wish you both health, wealth, wisdom, and understanding.Deon FreemanMarch 14, 2025

The Blueprint
I bought this book after watching the EYL interview posted with Chris Sain and announcing the book was out when Chris championed support of making it a best seller. And, I've seen some of Ian, the Master Investor, discussions on the YouTube Market Mondays with Rashad and Troy. These guys have a passion for what they do and share their truths for people to learn.I have this book in hard copy and Audiobooks. I have since purchased 8 copies so far to share with the people I love. The healthy money relationship paradigm shift, the reference to historical trauma influencing peoples behaviors with money and how they use it, the relatable examples to touch people where they are - are valuable and encouraging for people to view themselves in the position of power to change their current state for a future state that shifts the trajectory for themselves and the people they care about. Between these guys and a few others, I'll get to where I deserve to be monetarily so I can change the lives of the people I care about. Others will be benefactors of a changed mindset being accelerated to where it deserves to be... now if I could only accelerate my digesting and conceptualization of "options"!I wish you guys and those like you continued blessings... and thanks for the complimentary short term affordable EYL access.RH.

The education you didn't know you needed.
If you have been doing budgets the way our parents and grandparents taught us "STOP' This book is very educational. If you can't find yourself in one of the stories that is being shared, then you are not human. I am a 53-year-old woman finally taking the time to get my finances in order and this book gives me hope that even though I am late in life it is not over. The beginning of the book is the basics broken down so well that my 16-year-old grandson can understand. The second part of the book is about the next steps after you have mastered the basics and the cool thing is that the basics do not fit everyone the same, and they show you how to take the basics and apply them to YOUR LIFE! grab the book and go back to school. I am so proud of these young men; I have watched them for a long time, and to see their knowledge unfold and give back to whoever wants to receive it is amazing. BUY THE BOOK.
