One pro to this set is that they will nest into each other making a much smaller pack in/out. Flip the smaller over and it’ll slide right into the other.I tested it using some tailing that I had already panned a couple times. I clamped the two so that the larger pattern fed into the finer. It was able to pull a few additional flour and tiny wire gold.Down side is simply the size. I wouldn’t put a lot of material through it before cleaning it out. A few larger pebbles will start to clog the pattern, and due to the size that really starts to limit things. A faster flow might clear it out, but I was concerned the length would let flakes pass completely once it starts to get filled.Still would recommend for quick checks and follow ups from panning.

Not only did the mat work great, but the little bag of pay dirt had more gold in it then the 2 bigger bags I bought else where
