The package only comes with only 1 and not a "2 pack" as in the description.Aside from that, the ELECTOP ethernet adapter works with Chromecast Google TV 4K, no additional driver or app required. However, with the ethernet adapter and rj45 connected, Chromecast would show random black screens during video playback using the original 5V 1.5A (7.5W) power adapter. Issue resolved after replacing power adapter with a 5V 2A (10W) one.Due to limitation of USB 2.0 usb-c connection on the Chromecast, I was only able to get around 200Mbps using the adapter.

Great solution for not having any other interconnects than USB-C!

This is a fully functional USB gigabit ethernet adapter with an extra feature: a USB port for supplying power _to_ the connected device (a regular USB ethernet adapter gets its power _from_ the connected device). They’re most commonly used to added a wired network connection to USB powered streaming devices, so as to get a more consistent connection than wifi.I had hoped to use it with an Amazon Fire TV 4K, but no matter what I did I could not get the Fire TV to recognize it, but that is NOT this products fault—it works exactly as intended and I proved it by plugging it into a computer, which immediately recognized it as a network adapter and was automatically assigned an IP address by the router. Searching the interwebs, I discovered that a common complaint of Fire TV stick users is that their devices won’t even work with Amazon’s official adapter! I tried all the recommended tricks (the one which most users had success with was to turn off wifi in the settings, unplug it from the TV and usb cable, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in and wait a minute for it to recognize the adapter). I been using this well over 3 weeks and its been rock solid. Chromecast 4k top speed is around 350 mbps which is what this adapter puts out. No issues so far, if you need to directly connect your Chromecast to Ethernet this is excellent adapter.

Moved my TV to a new position and was having network issues due to low wifi coverage. Found this as a solution for my chromecast constantly stuttering while streaming. Plugged in the ethernet cable and the chromecast and goodbye buffering. Great little device for people facing similar issues.
