Source NaturalsSame, Supports Joint Comfort, 200mg - 60 Enteric Coated Tablets

I was very skeptical about trying SAMe. I sort of thought it was one of those overhyped, overpriced supplements. I read a lot about the methylation cycle and this supplement seemed to make sense. Arthritis runs in my family and as I get older I'm also having problems with pain and stiffness, particulary in my fingers and toes. All I can say is, this stuff works! I really didn't notice how well it had handled my joint pain until I ran out and forgot to take it for a while. I couldn't figure out why my fingers and toes hurt until I realized I had run out! An added bonus was the sense of calm it gave me. I tried the 400 mg. kind, but it made me irritable. If you haven't tried SAMe, this is a good price and enough tablets where you can really see if it works for you. It's definitely better than NSAIDs for me.

OK, here's the deal: I go to my health food store (which I try to love and support) and find my SAMe.... And it costs me $10 more than the same product ordered through Amazon! Bummer! But I want to support my local retailer.... What a problem! My solution: buy the cheaper essentials (chocolate and the other basic food groups) locally and get my chemicals online... At least when I'm sure what I'm getting is the same product.OH, and yes, SAMe does make me feel better. It seems to help my joint aches and (REALLY) improves my mood (no more chronic mild depression... well... at least not till I watch the evening news!). No anxiety seen with 200 mg or 400 mg taken once a day. I do take it in the morning since poking around on the internet suggests that it might interfere with sleeping and it's supposed to work better at bypassing the stomach acids when taken on an empty stomach.

My Shih Tzu's liver enzymes were over the top and the vet told to to give him SAMe. Truthfully I don't know if they helped, but I gave him the pills daily for about 3 months, along with Milk Thistle and a change of diet, and his numbers dropped back to normal.I bought the first package at a health food store and paid almost twice as much as I did on Amazon.Something worked and it just may have been the SAMe. The main thing is that he is fine now and full of piss and vinegar.

I don't really have a mood problem, so I don't know whether this drug is actually meant for me. I got it because I read that it was good to elevate mood. I can't say that my mood was "more elevated" than without this drug. I noticed one day that I would smile super often, however, I had a really good reason to be happy to begin with! I'm certain I would normally have smiled all day in that situation. I cant say definitively that I think this works, which means that you might not want to expect too much when you take this. Then again, how many people get duped by placebos?

I tried this product just because I was feeling flat and lethargic. I had no idea how flat and lethargic I really was! What a huge difference! I have energy, am smiling again and can't believe how slowed my mental processes were prior to using this product.I have researched it and the recommendations are to take it with B6 (which I am doing). There are two side effects that I have experienced: I had difficulty sleeping for the first 2-3 weeks after I began taking it, but this is resolved. I also am having a dramatic decrease in appetite (a good thing for me!). I highly recommend this product.

I take SAMe on a regular basis. I have done this for years. I have tried different brands. This one is good as I can still get it in 200 mg. So many are 400 mg or higher. The pill itself is a little larger than other brands. Not a problem for me, but might be for others.

I gave SAM-e a try, but bought the Nature Made Complete brand (200 mg). I noticed a positive difference in my mood and energy level. I don't mean that I felt an overwhelming since of euphoria or anything like that...at least that wasn't the case from my experience. The difference was subtle, yet noticiable. I didn't tell my wife I had started taking it, yet she also noticed the difference. I decided to keep taking it, and switched to this, less expensive option. I do believe there is a difference in what you get. I have noticed no benefit at all from the Source Naturals brand. I'll continue to take it since I paid for it, but I wish I had stayed with Nature Made and will switch back over to them once these are gone. (no, I do not work for Nature Made!)

I started Taking SAMe and within 3 days I was literally skipping through the house getting so much done and feeling so happy. This stuff works so well for me that I can't even tell when I'm PMS ing, I have been dealing with stress better and waking up earlier and even way more patient with my daughter. It gave me so much energy but I do wish it wasn't so expensive! Its worth it to me though. Happy

Purchased this product for my mother’s osteoarthritis. She has advanced osteoarthritis at 86 years of age. She found it helped take the edge off her pain. She also reported feeling more optimistic and motivated. Although the effect was mild she felt enough of an improvement to want to continue talking SAM’e
