I had high hopes for this fruit fly trap, but it completely missed the mark. Despite adding bait as suggested, it didn’t catch a single fruit fly. I followed every step in the instructions, but it just sat there doing absolutely nothing. The positive reviews really misled me; they don’t reflect my experience with this product at all. Save your money – I ended up returning it!

I don't often write reviews, but I'll give credit where it is due. This thing works well. I let it run all night and I'll have three dozen flies in the morning. It's significantly helped with my infestation. I have two other traps going, and this is by far the most effective.Pro tip: Use it in the dark. Works best without competing light. Also, just leave it on manual and turn to high for both the fan and light. Doesn't work as well on auto mode.

Update: We sent the first one back with a bad fan, and tried again. The second one works great, I got better results using red wine as my attractant (gnats are always trying to get in my wine glass ugh). So far we have a few mosquitos, a few gnats and a tiny beetle!(first unit) Right out of the box, plugged the USB-C cable they provided into about three different adapters to try to get it to work. Lights up but no fan. I really wanted this to work, so I am returning and hoping the second one is good.

I have a lot of plants, which means pesky fungus gnats. Off I went to Amazon to order some sort of device to save my sanity.I don't have many free outlets, so the ones you plug into an outlet weren't ideal. This device has a USB connector, so no huge connectors blocking outlets.It works! After about a month, the fan in my device was causing it to wobble. I notified the company via their website, and they sent me a replacement! No arguing, just provided proof of purchase and I had it within days.Definitely recommend if you're trying to combat small bugs and fungus gnats!

Didn’t work for me at all. I have had trouble with gnats and/or fruit flies, bought this trap with high hopes. Had it for a month now and it only caught two tiny gnats. My light plug ins and homemade apple cider dish soap bowls are more effective. Really sad I missed the return window !!!!!

This thing is great as a night light or some ambient fan noise, but it definitely isn't good for fruit flies. I am not surprised as they are not really attracted to light. We have this next to a cup of apple cider vinegar with a sticky trap above it. The cup has caught hundreds and this machine has caught 1.

Works great and looks nice. Different functions you can manually turn on or have it run on automatic. You can control light and fan speed. Also comes with a few extra sticky tape. Very easy to use
