The media could not be loaded. Excellent product presentation, packaging, and quality of the materials. Screen is good size. Cords have a reasonable length. Clamps are easy to connect. Installation is VERY easy. The charger automatically started it’s function at 12V, self-selected car, and started charging my car’s battery. I was driving to Austin and half way through, the battery warning indicator went off. I was able to drive the vehicle until the battery died at a gas station. Bought a new battery and replaced the previous one. Drove home with the full charge of the new battery. I ordered this product after reading several reviews carefully and got it today. I plan to drive the car to the shop and replace the battery generator (alternator). It also seems a great product to maintain a battery charge when not using your vehicles / boats frequently enough. I hope the product continues to work as well as for the past 5 Hr since it’s installation. Thus far recommend it! Good price and a nice toy to have in your garage. You never know! 😎

Just received on Jan. 28, 2025. Seems to be working great. Comes with temporary and permanent connections. Keeps battery maintained and ready for use. Cord length is plenty long enough.

Great product - works fine.One negative: If you are using a LiFePo4 12v battery (they are starting to replace lead-acid batteries - they're much lighter and last much longer before needing to be replaced), this won't reset the BMS if the battery is fully discharged.At least on my LiFePo4 battery, once the battery is FULLY discharged (I'm powering a trolling motor - if you're using the battery for starting you won't run into this), then the BMS cuts off the power to zero. The only way to get it to turn on again is to apply charging current - in a vehicle the alternator would do this, but this gadget doesn't.(I had to reset the BMS with a set of jumper cables - connect for a few seconds and it's done.)

GREAT SUPPORT and great product!I posted the 2-star review below mainly because this smart charger wasn't smart enough to remember or detect if the battery was 6v or 12v and thus wouldn't start without having to manually select the option each time. A day or so after the review, a person from the company called me personally and offered to resolve the problem. They actually agreed with my complaint and CHANGED THE DESIGN as a result so it would automatically remember the last setting and start charging automatically as soon as it's connected to the battery.They shipped me the upgraded version for no charge even thought the return period was long past. You just can't get better service than this!The charger works perfectly now. On another positive note, I'd been having the leave the original charger at the open end of my carport since it needed to be manually started. That's resuited in it being essentially outdoors and exposed to rain for almost a year. I've went out and found it dripping wet on several occasions and still it worked perfectly fine every time.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Disappointed by this not-so-smart chargerIf you connect the battery and walk away, you'll come back to an uncharged battery. The charger will be stupidly flashing its lights and waiting on you to tell it if it's a 6v or 12v battery. No-name cheaper chargers can auto-detect the type of battery and automatically start charging. Can't believe this name-brand one doesn't. Would have returned it but was past 30 days before i found this fatal flaw. Buying another to replace this one with.As for functionality, well it's a charger and it charges if you press the right button- twice.
