Usable without the re.
The ziplock design isn't suffiently robust to allow the product to claim reusable.

Clever Idea with so many uses
☑ We really like the concept here. There are so many uses. Travel laundry detergents through to BBQ cookout basting sauces.☑ leak proof - we tested this by squeezing hard. the seal works really well. it didnt pop open and we applied a good deal of pressure.☑ freezer proof, dishwasher safe and can be washes and sterlised in hot water which are all pluses.☑ You can get extras like spoon and brush attachments - these might be better for large options but it adds to the clever concept.☑ Food safe: BPA free, phthalates and PVC free.We are really impressed with these liquid pouches but we have two issues with them that prevented giving them 5 stars.Issue 1: whilst you get a coloured sticker per pouch but these will wash off so it would have been better if the caps were different colours to easily identify ones you user for food and ones you use for detergents.Issue 2: when you apply good levels of pressure you get good stream of liquid ejected from the pouch. without the pressure it can be a bit haphazard. Its not a major issue but be careful if you have a beetroot oil for a cookout and you're wearing white...

Expensive, seal well, come with reusable labels but where's the pen?
I thought these would be good for freezing little bit's of leftover gravy or similar and in the case of the picture freshly squeezed lime juice. I rinsed the bag and cap before use which was good as the bag expanded to it's full standing shape. I have not stored anything that may be considered difficult to clean off as yet and so can't offer comment (as yet - if there is a problem I will return to the review). Once expanded the bag will stand by itself. It is filled through the zip sealed top. The bag seals well and did not leak. You can control the pouring out of the liquid by unscrewing the flip top cap from the bag. When the flip top is on and the lid lifted the best extraction of the liquid I could get through it was a few drips. However if you suck through the flip top you can drink the content and I assume this is by design so that a little one does not spill the contents. If you squash the liquid filled bag the zip does leak a little bit but I was deliberately testing it to see it's fail point rather than the practical usage. The bag is well designed and seals well. It also has a whole range of accessories like paint brushes and baby spoon attachments that can be purchased separately. The four small bags come with a lid and a sticker each. The pen for writing on the sticker which is described in the product description is not in this pack (I think it's the product description that's at fault rather than the pack). So I think they're useful for storing small amounts of liquid food stuffs but are really expensive. I think they're designed to be part of a range of accessories and to be fair might be worth buying to a parent if you got a spoon attachment and a paint brush attachment in the pack.

These DoddleBags squeeze pouches are cute, they stand up, and they don't leak.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These are handy little bags/pouches. They don't hold a great deal (about a 100ml) but you can get them in various sizes from the manufacturer. You get four for around £10. I am not convinced that's a bargain price... £2.50 per bag is maybe a little on the high side. However, they perform well and are well designed. They should also be long lasting as the build and materials appear strong. You also are given four round coloured stickers in case you need to identify a pouch.I like the way they fold flat so that when you've used the contents they will hardly take up any space in your bag or luggage. The pouches are BPA Free, so that's excellent, but it's only mentioned in tiny print on the back of the cardboard packaging. I think it would be logical and beneficial to make the "BPA Free" labelling more prominent, maybe even print it on the pouch. I had to dig out the thrown away packaging to actually confirm whether the product is BPA free. I feel that these days people like to be in no doubt about the BPA status of drinks & food containers (well I do!).The screw-on cap has a reasonably strong 'click to close' lid which I feel could be a little bit firmer as if it was accidentally caught when in your pocket or bag it's possible that it could open and allow some leaking from the cap. I am being a little 'picky' but it's something that I noticed. The cap itself is a reassuringly well sealed and can be tightened as much as you feel necessary (there's a two level seal visible as you screw the cap on, which is a good feature). So, with a fair bit of tightening the cap should not give you any issues and mine certainly didn't during testing.Because of the shape of the pouch (i.e. it's flat but opens wider at the base when you start to fill it) when you pour liquid into the bag you really do need to stick to the MAX level mark printed on the bag. Because the MAX mark is only about half way up the bag there's a tendency to fill it up more. However, if you do that you will very quickly discover that the liquid will ooze out when you try to seal the ZipLock — I know this because I had filled the bag a fair way up and had to eventually pour out excess liquid to cleanly seal the bag. Therefore the manufacturer has put the MAX 100ml marking clearly on the bag.I performed my "Will it Leak" test (see video) and the DoddleBag performed flawlessly. Not a trace of leaking or seepage after a fair bit of tossing about and dropping the full bag onto a table top. I was impressed by that.Overall the design and performance of the DoddleBas is right up to expectations. They are very handy-sized bags that can be slipped into a pocket, bag, case discreetly and be a reliable way to carry liquids, creams, gels etc. My only slight reservation is the cost of £2.50 per bag... but that's my personal opinion and I can appreciate that they are well made containers that should prove their value with repeated use. I have therfore given them a 4 Star rating because of the price.
